I just watched All-Star Superman tonight. I was happily surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Didn't expect a great film since their seems to be a lot of negativity behind it, but I enjoyed it a lot.
I only read the first volume of the graphic novel, and thought it was an interesting tale for Superman. Never did pick up Volume 2, after watching this, I really want to now. I thought the animation was great, and complimented the graphic novel nicely, actually thought they improved on it and made it look nicer. I loved the scenes with Clark/Lex. The scene at Jonathan's grave site was nice as well. It did jump around a bit, but I didn't mind it. It's hard to tell a 2 volumes worth of graphic novels in an hour and a half. They did a great job I thought. Then again I haven't read the second volume... soooo yeah.
This one's right behind "Batman: Under The Red Hood" for me.
