Sometimes, just sometimes, the people at WB can do ******ed things. They cut out one of the best parts of the storyWell they cut the Nightwing stuff as expected. Oh well. Im buying it anyway, it seems awesome.

It was not necessary to the story in any way... and considering the running time of these movies, we definitely won't be missing much.
WB, Stan Berkowitz and Bruce Timm were very smart in this case.
So the one scene where we see that Superman and Batman utilise their own teams to launch a direct assault on the Whitehouse is just excess?
This movie does not have to be just over an hour, that's a ridiculously short length for a supposed 'movie'. It wouldn't have hurt to leave it in to show the audience just exactly what their teammates were up to.
Saw "Public Enemies" and it is awesome. The best DC animation since JLU ended. Brought me back to The New Batman/Superman Adventures. Thought it was funny that the movie had 3 perfectly even acts. You could perfectly divide the movie up into 3 episodes, with the cliffhangers for parts 1 and 2 happening at the 20 and 40 minute mark.
The voice acting was great, the animation was stellar (especially considering the detailed designs) and the music complemented the movie nicely. I think the movie is actually significantly better than the book.
Also, the screenshots don't do the translation of Ed McGuinness' work justice. In motion, it is very evocative of his work. Great job all around.
Either bought the dvd early like Dread, or downloaded it. I'm going with option 2.How did you see the film?
