Matt Reeves was pretty clear that Batman's costume was still evolving. I'm sure that applies to Catwoman too.

Oh, thank the maker. It's still killing me in the stills. It's weird, I didn't have any problem with TASM retelling the "origin" of Spider-Man, but it seems The Batman here is taking the MCU approach with Spidey. He's new, but not brand new, meaning we can just jump on in with young Batman, but without the rehash of the origin we have seen 20 times now.

This is year 2 and so Batman/Bruce is on a journey along with the villains. If this becomes a trilogy then it's about the rise of his legend and 3rd film will end with Batman become how we know batman to be at his peak

Pattinson looks great in the suit and is as brutal as needed for Batman. Those were 2 things I was unsure of but they have been totally put to bed. On the acting front there was never any question. I doubt I could be much more hyped for this right now. Especially after hearing Reeves talk for half an hour about his vision. I wish all filmmakers were like this and had this much passion for their projects.

As a summary of the event: WOW. Im literally more the marvel fanboy and I rolled my eyes about the mess DC a lot. But this event wake up a lot of passion. WW84 with Patty I just trust, SS2 looks pure fun, Black Adam has a lot potential too.
The Batman is the top of the hill. Im really speechless. DC is miles away in excitement right now for me.

It doesn’t feel that much like Joker to me, a bit like TDK though. Certainly standalone from anything else we’ve seen.

I want him to look like Penguin (ideally Arkham Penguin), while also recognising at least a bit of Farrell in there too. When there’s zero link it’s a bit disconcerting.

I massively enjoyed it. I loved the bits everyone else loved, but I also just love having nonstop fan material played for hours like that. It really helps me see and invest in DC as a whole. It’s fun to me seeing the actors and crew mucking about and that helps me get invested in their films too.

Wow, that Batman trailer showed much more than I was expecting, given they stopped filming pretty early on.

Pattinson feels badass, the suit definitely looks better than the bts photos, Wright seems good, Riddler is the main villain and looks that they finally are going to do him justice and the tone of the film seems very bleak. I think it's going to be the darkest Batman yet.

I'm still not sold on this Catwoman and have a fear that there may be too many characters in this one but time will tell and I trust the director.

The noir style is great. Let's hope Reeves delivers something unique.

My heart is still racing. I said it on the Batman board but I truly haven't been this hyped for anything Batman-related in 13-years. Now I was maybe this hyped after that 3rd MoS trailer, but even then, I had doubts, cuz Snyder. Here? Zero doubts. Zero doubts at all. It's all gravy.

I still am just sitting here in disbelief not knowing what to do with myself. DC pulled it off today. They worried us for a bit at the beginning with those tech issues and last minute changes to the event but oh MAMA did they deliver today. There was something there for everyone and the directors came equipped to please the fans. In this incredibly turbulent year... we needed this man and so glad DC came through. I loved almost everything I saw today.

I am super confident right now. The director already had a top reputation and we’ve just heard him speaking for 30 minutes showing he knows his stuff inside out. We have one of the best young actors as Batman and now we have footage showing he looks great in the suit, sounds great and is very convincing in action scenes. The tone of the film feels appropriate and everything feels high quality throughout.

The "I'm Vengeance" line sounded great coming from Pattison and the beatdown before it made it feel even more badass. Damn why is this movie still a year away lol.

The stills do the suit no justice. It looks so great in motion. They are taking Riddler really seriously by the looks of things, and it’s about time. I love Jim Carey but it’s time to move on lol.

Apparently Penguin is totally in this teaser and Colin is so unrecognizable that I, a die-hard Colin Farrell fan, didn't clock him after watching it 3 times.

I rescind my comment about you slipping, I'm still not convinced they didn't switch him out with another actor.
