Rockstready really disappointed

After like 5 years with their game all they got to show is a CG trailer. C'mon man..

11 quick things after watching the trailer:

1. I dig the car.

2. Battinson looks like the Crow without the mask on, meaning both Reeves and Nolan were clearly influenced by the best Batman movie. Oh, and I love he is actually wearing eye black.

3. I am not sure how I feel about Hush Riddler, but we shall see.

4. Battinson looks hilarious as Bruce, and my brother could not stop laughing during the trailer because of it. He looks like the Goths from South Park.

5. Someone needs to stop giving Bernard new hairstyles with clearly added hair. Just come home brother.

6. Batman punching that one dude was probably my favorite live action Batman action moment that didn't involve a vehicle.

7. This Batman clearly doesn't listen to Nirvana, he listens to the Cure.

8. They really took Daredevil's cowl.

9. I like how the shot of him ziplining up reminded me of both Burton and Nolan, but still fresh.

10. I need to figure out a way to propose to Selina Kyle, and I think I might have to take notes from Hush Riddler.

11. The Joker makeup... don't tease me.

The "I'm Vengeance" line sounded great coming from Pattison and the beatdown before it made it feel even more badass. Damn why is this movie still a year away lol.

Both those things worked so well and were areas I was unsure of ahead of time, as well as how the suit would look. All doubts gone, I think we’re onto a massive winner here.

Apparently Penguin is totally in this teaser and Colin is so unrecognizable that I, a die-hard Colin Farrell fan, didn't clock him after watching it 3 times.

I like how Matt Reeves set up the Batverse. It looks sufficiently different from Burton, Schumacher, Nolan & Snyder versions. I took into consideration his ability to craft effective thrillers in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes, such that I knew beforehand that his film will be sufficiently different from the Apes films.

Didn't know what to expect, now after seeing the trailer I'm highly intrigued by Reeves' Bat film.

Been waiting a long time for this trailer, very satisfied. Favorite part was the beat down and trailer music. Got a "The Crow" vibe in the best way, gritty and dirty. Love it.

So I'm trying to figure out the Riddler's complex puzzle to figure out the release date. My best guess so far is 2041, which is probably about six months after the whole virus situation ends.

I loved Reeves' Planet of the Apes movies, so when he became involeved with this project I asked myself "Will this be the first time I look forward to a Batman movie?"

After seeing this trailer the answer is "Yes"

...I just don't understand...why WB can't hire someone who loves Superman the way Matt Reeves loves Batman and the way Patty Jenkins loves Wonder Woman.

Oh wait, its because they seemingly hate Superman, and that hatred pretty much influences their decisions.

-This should finally shut up Pattinson's haters. I looks to be crushing this, and his bat-voice is PERFECTION. So glad to be done with the Bale/Affleck ridiculous chain-smoker nonsense.

- I saw a shot of Penguin before watching, so I had confirmation bias, but I can definitely see Farrel there under the prosthetics. Either way, he looks incredible.

-Obviously the Catwoman suit is VERY preliminary, but I love the Long Halloween vibe their meeting here is giving off.

-That Joker makeup is...intriguing to say the least. But i love how Riddler is being introduced here, and as much as Reeves clearly loves the source, I have no doubt we'll see him in a green suit and hat by the end of the film.

-I should have known better than to doubt FC, but this absolutely is the "Batman By Fincher" that I've been waiting for. The ambience, the grit, the actual highlighting of him as a detective... all perfect. Now we can only hope to build from here into the more fantastic elements and characters and its a dream come true.

I felt bad how their wasn't much love for The Man Of Steel in Dc Fandom today. He's an integral part of the DC Comics Trinity and today he doesn't get as much attention as Batman and Wonder Woman.
