I felt bad how their wasn't much love for The Man Of Steel in Dc Fandom today. He's an integral part of the DC Comics Trinity and today he doesn't get as much attention as Batman and Wonder Woman.

Disappointed
Don’t worry someday the big blue Boy Scout will get his time in the spotlight again. We must do what Superman would tell us in times of uncertainty, we must have hope.

Me, watching The Batman trailer for the 19th time, remembering that they once DID approach Reeves to make a Superman movie before Snyder:

Reeves could've sold people on a darker version of Superman for sure. But, of course it didn't wind up happening. Typical WB.

It's just so foolish. They have THE Superhero on their roster, and they relegate him to CW shows or making him a bad guy over and over.

I thought Reeves like a bunch of other directors (like Affleck) turned down Superman and that's why they had to go to Snyder?

And this ladies and gentlemen is why Dc knows Batman is their meal ticket for success

I wonder what the numbers are for the Snyder Cut?

With the way things are now, we'd be lucky if we get another faceless cameo again like in "Shazam".

As an event overall how would you rate DC Fandome?

WW84 panel - C
It was okay. Kind of meatless until the trailer, which looked good.

Gotham Knights announcement - A
Game play looks amazing. Can't wait.

Sandman Panel - D
I'm not a big Sandman guy, and this did nothing to encourage me to dive in

Multiverse Panel - C
I'm not sure why but this wasn't as interesting as I thought it was going to be.

Flash Panel - C
Honestly this was kind of a ho-hum panel as well, not that I expected much, but I'm a big Muschetti fan so I was excited to hear his vision.

Beyond Batman MST3K skit - A
This was awesome and I wish it were a prelude to a Batman Beyond live action film.

Suicide Squad Panel - A+
This was great, this was fun, announcements of the cast, even without a First Look this was a great panel.

BAWSE panel - N/A
Honestly I stepped out for food so didn't watch it.

Legacy of the Bat - D
I wasn't blown away. I love the Bat Family but this was kind of a boring panel.

Chris Daughtery - A
Great song

The Joker - B
Short and sweet. The way a few more panels should've been.

Jim Lee portfolio review - A
I really liked this panel. It was a gem.

Milestone Panel - A
Here's hoping for more Static Shock.

Voices of Batman panel - D
Couldn't care less. Got up and played with the nephew.

Snyder Cut Panel - B
As a guy who kind of liked JL, I'm fairly confident this film won't change my mind. But 4 hours???

Flash TV Panel - N/A

Black Adam Panel - B
I wasn't that interested in Black Adam before this panel. I have some interest now.

CNN Real Life Heroes - C
When I go to a con, these are the panels I skip.

Titans Panel - C
I'm a Titans fan and I got nothing from this. Nothing. Favorite moments? Huh?

Aquaman - C
In Wan we trust but got nothing out of this. A yawn fest.

Harley Quinn - D
Didn't care. Glad they kept it short.

80th Anniversary Wonder Woman - C
Not long enough. Highly disappointed. 80 years of WW deserved a full fledged 30 mins.

Tomorrow's Heroes -N/A

Shazam - B
Is Sinbad really in this? I can't believe I'm asking this question! Lol I guess I don't care, I love this crew.

WW84 plays Werewolf Game - D
Dumb and pointless.

Suicide Squad game announcement - B
No gameplay footage. But liked what I heard overall.

The Batman panel - A
This was the saving grace of the night. Reeves was damn near spoiling the entire movie, I almost turned it off. But the details and the trailer really brought it all home.

Overall, a C+ rating. This could've been a lot worse and I had my expectations pretty low, right where they needed to be. Helped me enjoy it more than it deserved.

Imo all the Batman related content minus (legacy of the bat) . I thought this was spot on for Batman. Wonder Woman had a decent amount of content with the WW84. But I think it was a huge disappointment not having anything dedicated to Superman, for crying loud Man of Tomorrow debuts on VOD Tomorrow and no trailer or advertisements for it. Bad move Dc

So Superman is so insignificant that they made a game on Batmans sidekicks before a new Superman game lol. Been almost 15 years since we got a Superman game and it's been since never that we've gotten a decent one. But hey we need more Batman and Suicide Squad games because we know how much people love suicide squad from that awful movie released a few years ago that everyone still gives crap to any chance they can get. I'm so sick of Batman content.
Where the hell is wonder womans game??

Catching up with the encore replays now, and catching up on this thread too.

Didn't see if anyone mentioned it before, but Snyder mentioned during the Snyder Cut panel that it's going to have distribution outside of HBO Max as well, so it won't be necessary to have an HBO Max subscription to watch it. So that's good news too.

I think he was just mentioning international distribution there. In America, this will definitely be exclusive to HBO Max.

Very late to the party, was out all day yesterday, and have taken a look (without much sound, given it was around 2 am when got back). Need to look further today at RP's Batman trailer, but visually from what I saw was 'interesting' and really quite different to what we've had previously. JL trailer was as expected all kinds of awesome and had me with a tear in my eye, especially the 're-united- shot of Clark with Lois and his mum. From what I've seen all good, but was wanting Superman stand-alone news SO bad.

What a great day. Loved the trailers. Interviews. Panels. Everything.
My only gripe was it needed more Batman. Maybe next year.

Overall thoughts now I’ve slept on it...

The good stuff:

- WW84 Trailer
- The Suicide Squad panel & sneak peek
- JL Snyder Cut Trailer
- Black Adam panel
- The Batman panel & trailer (stole the show)

The bad stuff:

- Most panels were boring & some were childish
- Way too much focus on Batman in the side panels & no focus at all on Superman. Not even one 5 min panel on the legacy of the character
- Those crappy claymation cartoon & those not funny a Batman Beyond/BTAS skits
- Where were the BIGGEST announcements? (Honestly I thought we’d get Hawkman casting plus official on video confirmations of Keaton & Affleck I’m the Flash).

There were a few bright spots yesterday, but I was underwhelmed. WW84 has all kinds of potential. Black Adam looks interesting. Milestone is returning, and that's wonderful news.

But there was zero Green Lantern news. There were no HBO Max updates, no confirmation on whether Alan Scott or Jade will be in Stargirl, not even a word on who will be taking over for Morrison when season 2 is done. I don't care if the investigation of Geoff Johns was partially responsible for this, DC could have had something ready for us.

Yeah overall I was pretty disappointed with the whole thing. No earth shattering new information. No Superman news or official video confirmation of Keaton and Affleck in The Flash. There were some good trailers that came out of this but DC FanDome was not needed for them.

This is exactly the issue with what Fandome was and what was teased. Where were the BIGGEST ANNOUNCEMENTS? We didn’t even get Video confirmation of Affleck & Keaton been in the Flash even though we know it already.

It’s funny cause people were having a go at John Campea when he said this sounded like a big press event and it kinda was in a way.

I think the majority of the television panels (except Flash and Titans) were moved to Sept. 12th. I’m expecting Stargirl news then.

I’m interested to see Campea’s show later today and see if he was disappointed too. He was thinking there would be a big “Cavill returns as Superman” announcement as the surprise panel. Lol

Yeah I mean for me when I take away the trailers and that Black Adam panel I think it was pretty meh event on the whole. The panels for the great trailers (aside from the Batman) were all kind of poor aswell.

Tbh I don’t know why he thought that was it was advertised as a DC Comics panel so I knew it was always gonna be about the comics.

Also I wasn’t impressed with Pattinson’s physical stature in the trailer. He still looks skinny as hell. I’m sure the acting will be superb but was really disappointed with him looking skinny
