I'm not familiar with Green Lantern comics and its characters prior to Rebirth so my only reaction was, "Damn bro, you were demoted". I felt bad

The Guardians enlisted Kyle to use his White Lantern powers to do some crazy s#!t and then some comic book stuff happened and fractured the white lantern ring into rings for each of the colors of the emotional spectrum. The rings flew off to find bearers and Kyle obviously got the green ring.

Its funny, because, Kyle's costume has always been such a horrible design, but it was so nice to see him back in it.

Black is the absence of color while White is all colors.put together.

A black ring wouldn't make sense from this type of scenario.

I liked Kyle as the White Lantern, honestly.

Me too actually. I thought it was a good way to keep him "special" without crossing path with Hal as a GL. Although, I remember that I liked him being a blue lantern and I thoughht it would be perfect : Hal in GL, Guy & John in GLC and Kyle as a Blue Lantern or White Lantern. 3 titles for each to choose.

I know DC can't always make what "we" (fans) want happening: I disliked the New 52 but I enjoyed Kyle as a WL. Now I love Rebirth but I wish Kyle were not a GL.
