Dang it. How can Red Hood and the Outlaws be as good as it is? #12 gave me the feels!

Biggest surprise in Rebirth. That team is lightning in a bottle.

Wonder Woman 26, the 1st issue since Rucka's run ended and its as I feared...

I didn't like it.

I'm still not sure if I'll be checking out Metal next month, but I really dug the two prologue issues, especially since they seem to be heavily trickling older continuity back into place. The Blackhawk stuff made me very excited, so I hope that eventually leads to DC collecting the Howard Chaykin mini from the 80's, along with the short-lived ongoing and the short stories from Action Comics Weekly.

Cool. Then it's time for me to catch up on 'Tec. I love me some AzBats.

The good news then is that the book as a whole has been fantastic. Come for the AzBats... stay for the quality :D

Oh... and just so you know in case you're interested, Jean Paul/Azrael made his New 52/Rebirth debut in the weekly series Batman & Robin Eternal. That one explained his newer origin.

Detective Comics has easily been one of the best titles DC has been publishing since Rebirth. It amazes me it's not in the top 10 of sales.

I love Detective Comics. But Batwoman is a bit hit or miss for me in yet. Still, it has been fantastic and I love the way it has portrayed the Bat-family.

Thanks. That's been on my list for a while anyway. I heard it was decent.

The Solicitations for Batman in october sound so awful, ifear the worst for this series and the future.
What does King do to batman and his family?
I guess he either continues to mess up what Bruce/batman really is or he excuses his ****** batman and makes the family look bad.

Either way, would someone get Batman away from Kings hands please.

I was confused by that solicitation. Does that mean the Bat Family or is this some kind of Resurrection of Ras Al Ghul style hocus pocus with his mom and dad? If it's the former, that has been my biggest gripe of King, and to an extent Snyder. They do a terrible job of writing the Bat Family. Which is weird because Snyder did Black Mirror which was the definitive Grayson Batman story.

Batman #27 was a great. [blackout]Kite-Man, hell yeah[/blackout].

But his motivation was heart wrenching. Made me physically ill
as a dad myself. I wanted to say f--- Batman for not realizing the kid had been poisoned.

Jeff Lemire teases Mr. Terrific!

Since he's no longer at Marvel, I wonder if he's back at DC with a solo book or a JSA series. :awesome:

Holy ****, Plastic Man and Metamorpho?! :wow:

I always liked the idea of Superman and Lois having a child and think the stories are good but personally I miss the days when Superman worked alone.

Disregard. It actually kind of sucked. I liked the idea, but boy, that execution.

Huh? I LOVED it! It was a bit heavy handed but I love that about Supes. And how can you not love:
Clark and Jonathan using Niagra Falls as their personal water slide?

Holy ****, Plastic Man and Metamorpho?! :wow:

I'm intrigued by the new Challengers of the Unknown too. Hope the originals show up too. I've only read maybe one story with them, but I thought they were neat.

Joelle Jones is doing the art for Batman once The War of Jokes and Riddles is over.

I wasn't familiar with her but looking up her art, I think she'll be a pretty good fit. She brings a Capullo vibe with a lot of cleanness. I like it. And she's quite the looker too!
