vs. Zod

Who you got peeps?

Zod. A trained fighter and ruthless killer.

Silvana is powerful, but maybe not quite as powerful as Zod - it really depends how DCEU DCEU Kryptonians handle magic.

I'll still go with Zod.

I don't know... I'm half tempted to vote Sivana, but Superman probably did manage to come close to winning against Black Adam a few times in the comics....

I guess I'll go with General Zod who wants me dead instead of kneeling before him.

With Zods infinitely superior fighting skills and combat tactics he takes this fight. Sivana might get a hit or two in but Zod would probably fry him with his laser eyes.

Man! You guys are completely ignoring Kryptonian's weakness to magic. I'm not saying Sivana would win but it wouldn't be as one sided as some may think. Plus Zod really didn't get full control of his powers in MoS.

Weakness to magic has never really been established in the DCEU, has it?

Also, Sivana does not really use a lot of magic in the movie other than magic that just makes him stronger (while still not seeming as strong, to me, as Zod) and unleashing his Sins on people, which is literally his weakness while also being almost totally useless against anyone with superpowers (because the sins are wildly incompetent fighters). Sivana will unleash the sins to surround Zod and Zod will speed straight past them and rip Sivana's heart out.

Having not seen Supergirl I’m not too familiar with how powerful their adaptation of MM is. So going by comics and Jl/JLU MM I’m going with him. Superman absolutely dominated Steppenwolf and MM is only a bit less powerful than Supes. But like I said with how easily Supes handled Steppenwolf being only a bit less powerful than him is still enough to put down Steppenwolf with relative ease.

Well........he's pretty comic accurate and he does have super speed..............but that fire weakness man......................that has to be the weakest weakness since GL's weakness to wood. WOOD!

Ummmm...... the Kryptonians in the CW Supergirl are not as powerful as they on the big screen. While Cavill Superman handled Steppenwolf with ease, Hoechlin Superman might not have such an easy time. Martian Manhunter is comparable to Hoechlin Superman, so I'll say he wins but not by a lot, just - 7/10 , whereas Cavill Superman would be 10/10 against Steppenwolf. Also MM has a weakness that's much easier to exploit than kryptonite.

In Morrison's Legendary JLA new world order, Batman takes out 5 white Martians with a can of petrol and a book of matches - so a pretty big Achilles heel - more of an Achilles barn door.

I have thought that the ring's inability to work against yellow objects was dumb, since about 1980. Thank goodness they finally ditched it.

I suppose it did give rise to a bunch of villains who were within the spirit of one-trick 80s comic book villains ( and some beautifully drawn by Gil Kane).

No narrative reason, I just think Steppenwolf is monumentally stupid and doesn't deserve to win anything in any context.

That and JL is so illogical and inconsistent when it comes to power levels that it's basically worthless as a basis for reasoning, anyway.

We haven't seen the full extent of Cyborg's power, but yellow ringed Sinestro is immensely powerful - able to take on Superman and other DC powerhouses. Sinestro is also a monumental a@@ hole, and utterly ruthless. He kills opponents without hesitation and would have no problem cutting Cyborg into pieces.

Sinestro's main weakness is his overconfidence, but against Cyborg he's justified in being confident.



So Sinestro probably 9/10 times.
