I read a full plot description online before the last trailer was released so i feel like i know the whole plot now.

I probably spoilt it for myself but its still a comedy with plenty of gags so there is something to get out of the film.

The action also looks great too. I can't judge a movie by a trailer but the action looks way better than the first in my opinion. Then again the first had two big action sequences (which were both revealed before the film lol) so let me wait to see the whole movie before I say that. But either way, action looks A+ from what I have seen.

That was basically my same reaction. I believe it's because the people working on Deadpool generally know what they are doing. Not quite the same with Dark Phoenix ;) .

Yea it's pretty much the same people sans Miller lol We shall see though!!! So close yet so far away!!

I did hear that they definitely have a videos/marketing material that they're going to release like they did with the first so I am looking forward to those :woot:

I wouldn't be shocked if

alot of the action in the trailer is in the opening of the film just before he returns home to Vanessa.

it doesn't sound like there is alot of reasons for him to be cutting down fools in the film when the big bad is either Cable (Aka the terminator) or Juggernaut

From my understanding of the plot
It seems like later on he has a duel with the government folks. Him and the kid end up in the same jail or something and he escapes. So I am gonna assume there is some fight sequences then. Unless of course that happens in the beginning.

Plus the original guy who leaked the plot claimed that "nothing happens in the first hour of the movie." But either way I wouldn't be shocked if a lot of the fight sequences in the trailer are tailored towards one part of the film just like it was with the first. Whether that's in the beginning, middle or end lol

Deadpool is on FX tonight

Okay, I loved their little commercial for their cancer charity. I loved the pink suit.

Sadly, can't link, due to language.

Crazy that FX is even going uncensored in some of their commercials.

Should pop up on www.omaze.com

Yeah, FX and SyFy have been throwing around f-bombs and R rated violence for a minute now.

ok....here it goes. spoilers from reddit.

click if you wanna be kinda spoiled.... (they could be fake).

In a post-apocalyptic future, Cable (Josh Brolin) breaks into a government facility and steals a temporal displacement device, in order to travel back in time to kill the mutant who will one day murder his family. The device is damaged and can only perform one more time jump, which Cable intends to use to return to the future after completing his mission.

In New York City, Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) is attacked by rival mercenaries, and his girlfriend Vanessa Carslyle (Morena Baccarin) is killed in the crossfire. Colossus (Stefan Kapicic) and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) console him and once again invite him to join the X-Men. Deadpool begrudgingly accompanies them on a mission to rescue Rusty Collins (Julian Dennison), a mutant boy with pyrokinetic powers who is being abused at a boys’ home. Deadpool intervenes when the orderlies begin torturing Rusty, and the two end up being arrested by the government and locked up in a mutant prison called “the Icebox”, where they are forced to wear inhibitor collars that neutralize their powers.

Deadpool and Rusty bond as they antagonize cell block "king" Black Tom Cassidy (Jack Kesy). Cable later breaks into the Icebox to kill Rusty, who will grow up to become a vicious mutant criminal known as “Fire Fist” and kill hundreds of innocents, including Cable’s family. Cable’s attack causes a riot, during which Cassidy is killed, and Deadpool is forced to leave Rusty behind in order to escape. Inspired by Vanessa’s memory, Deadpool later assembles a team formed by Domino (Zazie Beets), Bridge (Terry Crews), Zeitgeist (Alexander Skarsgard) and Shatterstar (Lewis Tran) to intercept a prison convoy transporting Rusty, but Bridge, Zeitgeist and Shatterstar are unexpectedly killed in a botched parachute landing, while Deadpool and Domino fight Cable. Rusty manages to escape and, believing Deadpool to have abandoned him, joins forces with another prisoner, the Juggernaut, to destroy the boys’ home.

Unable to defeat the Juggernaut on his own, Cable joins forces with Deadpool and Domino. He remains determined to kill Rusty, claiming that the boys’ home massacre is the beginning of Rusty’s criminal career, but Deadpool is convinced that he can change Rusty’s future. The Juggernaut nearly kills them before Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead arrive to help and defeat the Juggernaut by shoving a power cable up his ass and throwing him into a river, where he is electrocuted.

Deadpool confronts Rusty and urges him to stop his rampage. He puts on the inhibitor collar and challenges Rusty to prove he is evil by killing him first. Rusty hesitates, but Cable shoots him anyway. Deadpool takes the bullet and dies in Rusty’s arms. His sacrifice causes Rusty to realize the error of his ways, and changes the future.

Feeling responsible for Deadpool’s death, Cable uses his last time jump to return a few hours back in time and arrange for Deadpool to be wearing a token from Vanessa that ends up saving him from Cable’s bullet. Rusty is welcomed into the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, and Deadpool and Cable earn each other’s respects.

In a series of post-credits scenes, Negasonic Teenage Warhead repairs the temporal displacement device, which Deadpool uses to prevent Vanessa’s death. After they are reunited, he also uses it to kill baby Hitler, his X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE counterpart and Ryan Reynolds before he signs on to GREEN LANTERN.

The movie begins with a voice-over narration in which Deadpool complains that LOGAN stole its R-rating from him, so he's stealing LOGAN's idea of having the hero die in the end to protect a kid.

Deadpool's team is the X-Force (because "X-Men" is sexist). Deadpool and Weasel hold open auditions and end up choosing Domino, Bridge, Zeitgeist, Shatterstar and a guy named Jim, who is not even a mutant. During the botched parachute landing, Shatterstar is shredded by a helicopter, Bridge lands on a freeway and is run over by a truck, and Zeitgeist is trapped in a woodchipper. Jim actually makes the landing, but gets sprayed by Zeitgeist's acid blood while trying to pull him out.

Cable says his backstory is "complicated". He's born in a post-apocalyptic future where mutants are nearly extinct, and received bionic implants after being injured fighting in the war between humans and mutants. He had a wife and a daughter named Hope, who were murdered by the adult Fire Fist, and carries Hope's teddy bear with him as a reminder of what he is fighting for.

When Deadpool visits the X-Mansion, he once again complains there's no other X-Men around. As he does, the X-MEN: APOCALYPSE cast (Tye Sheridan's Cyclops, Sophie Turner's Jean Grey, Alexandra Shipp's Storm, Kodi Smit-McPhree's Nightcrawler and Evan Peters' Quicksilver) are seen hanging out in a room. They notice that Deadpool is around and close the door before he notices they're there.

When Domino introduces herself as having "luck powers", Weasel quips that's lazy enough to come from a guy who can't draw feet.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead is openly lesbian and has an Asian mutant girlfriend who helps her and Colossus fight the Juggernaut.

That video is brilliant. Auctioning off a pink Deadpool costume for cancer research? Awesome!

Saw the newest trailer on the big screen today. Can't wait!

That sounds bad if its true.

Because so many characters that no one cares about die?

I think it sounds pretty awesome.

Agreed, sounds great to me.

My only issue would be them [BLACKOUT]killing Juggernaut[/BLACKOUT]. But with the Disney merger, it probably won't end up mattering that much.

Quite surprised they are going with a [BLACKOUT]Comedic killing characters sequence.[/BLACKOUT]

I do expect a tiny bit of backlash with this movie. although not from casual audiences who won't care one bit but those fans who expected more from the Deadpool movies after the first one and will just go on to blame it on the fact there is no Tim Miller involved.

Those people were going to be mad regardless of how the movie turned out. They already hate the movie and it hasn't even been released yet. Those folks had their pitchforks out the moment Tim Miller left so I am not really concerned about what they think of the film.

But like I said before, if that's the plot I see no issue with it and in fact sounds better than the first. Seems like it'll be very entertaining and that's the most important thing when it comes to a film like this.

According to a tweet from Marcus Theaters, tickets should be going on sale soon for this.

Not sure how accurate this is. Apparently Jack Kesy's role was cut from the film. And I'm not sure how they'd cut his role out of the film based on the scenes that this plot claims he's in. But then again who knows if he was actually cut from it.

I remember reading that info a week before the last trailer came out and if you look at the last trailer you probably could link alot of the scenes with that information.

Only information that i don't see there that i read was

"Juggernaut is in it as a CGI creation. He's "twice Colossus' size" and basically the end boss."

"He's all CG and in a yellow prison jumpsuit."

According to Jeff Snieder Jack Kesy's role was cut.
So if that's the case, that whole prison break scene was most likely cut. Therefore would Rusty still be mad at Deadpool since it was during that scene that he felt betrayed by him? And if not then that changes the whole dynamics of what happens in the rest of the movie...according to that plot

But of course that's if Jeff Snieder's source is right. Having said that
the person who released this plot could have seen it before the cuts were made. I am just not sure how the movie plays out, because while Jack Kesy's role is very very very minor according to that leaked plot, he is also in the film when it's building up what it is supposed to be

Also
Someone else said that the botched helicopter thing doesn't happen.

What I am trying to say is that I don't know how fully accurate that plot is. I am sure there are somethings in it that happen
Like Vanessa dying. Juggernaut being in it. Cable coming back to kill the kid etc
, but if Jack Kesy's role was indeed cut, then either his scenes were described incorrectly in that plot or they're about to release a different film than what this person saw.

Thing is some time ago there was some set images someone snapped of Domino and Deadpool in parachute harness being lowered down... but those other characters were not pictured or even there on set

Although it looks like deadpool is caught on a billboard

The parachute scene happens. Just that the others don't die from it

But I didn't see the film. So who knows. I am just saying if Jack Kesy was indeed cut from the film, then things will be playing out a bit differently than what that plot tells us.
