Reynolds on the rating, he thinks X-Force can be R....

Even if the film isn't rated R, I hope Ryan and co. are attached to the film as producers. He's so passionate and Miller, Reese and Wernick really understand these characters itseems. But yes, I can definitely see Fox giving Miller and Ryan the reigns to X-Force and that aspect of the Fox universe if Deadpool makes a lot of money, which its looking like at this moment.Really hoping Jackman will still show up in some form and not retire fully now that Deadpool is around and the possibility of X-Force is around the corner.
If this film makes alot of cash, then Fox are gonna give Reynolds and crew X-Force. And if Reynolds is producer like he is on this and he wants an R rating... then I don't see the studio stopping them after it's proven they know how to make it all work.
Otherwise it's a lock for PG-13 imo.

Yes, @DeadpoolMovie again. I'm clearly obsessed, okay? @VancityReynolds is firing on all cylinders the ENTIRE movie. Non-stop greatness.

I'd compare it to Shaun Of The Dead. Great, dramatic horror movie, that is also hilarious. @deadpoolmovie is the same for superheroes.

.@deadpoolmovie has the best credits sequence I've seen in years. You know from minute one that it's going to be a hilarious movie.
Oh, I have no doubt it could have the requisite violence. I just think the comedy aspect of Deadpool makes it more palatable as an R-Rated film than X-Force would.
Terminator ripped out peoples heart, had sex and nudity and numerous f bombs. Take away the language in The Matrix soundtrack and it's basically pg-13 level. I still don't think that film deserved it's R rating. Taken and X-Men 2 are just as violent of not more then that film.
When you have characters like X-23 and Deadpool who are constantly slicing and dicing people they better be dropping the extreme violence and blood if they want an R. Especially now that Deadpol will be known for it in his own films. Otherwise it's not worth it. Just throwing in some F bombs with bloodless pg-13 violence to receive an R rating in a well known property that younger audiences want to see like this is a waste. Gotta make use of that rating or deal with a PG-13
An R-rating doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be a messy, depressing bloodbath. Just look at James Cameron's Terminator movies and The Matrix. I'd love an R-rated X-Force. You know, as the harsher, grittiers side of Fox's X-Men franchise. The soldiers of the franchise. Just cool as heck and unhinged.
Gotcha
Personally, I'd love to see some R rated movies from Marvel Studios. Maybe a Midnight Sons movie would be a perfect movie to be made for a more mature audience. With Dr. Strange, GR, Moon Knight, and Blade, I think this movie can become successful despite its R rating.
Seems like thanks to Internet many geeks finally found a way to become the bullies.
Really hoping Jackman will still show up in some form and not retire fully now that Deadpool is around and the possibility of X-Force is around the corner.
On how DEADPOOL, FANTASTIC FOUR, and GAMBIT tie into the X-MEN shared universe:
"Well this movie take space chronologically before those other films, so its more like those films have to acknowledge this than we acknowledge Gambit, Deadpool, or Fantastic Four or anything else that exists within the sort of Fox/Marvel universe. But I work on all of those films in one capacity or another, either as a producer on all of them and as a writer on Fantastic Four and this movie, so Im certainly aware of all the different stories were telling at the same time, and they all are part of a larger fabric now, and so the world of Deadpool, the world of Gambit, exists in a post-Days of Future Past post-Apocalypse world where all of these stories are the same as our shared history. The same way that each of us of different ages knows about Nixon and knows about Reagan and knows about 9/11, our fictitious events like the stadium dropping on the White House in 1973 is part of the world in which Gambit, Deadpool, Wolverine on forward exists."
Nothing really new here, but Kinberg on how Deadpool ties with the other films.
