Its an odd film, the definition of black comedy, but yeah Rynolds is great in it. Hopefully Deadpool will give him the ammunition he needs to do his thing and let rip.

The Voices was something that a few of us talked about right after Deadpool was announced as getting made, as we said he was a bit Deadpool-like there and gave us some confidence in the role. (In addition to the leaked test footage)

Less then 30 days away from Deadpool being released, it's good to know that Ryan has delivered the Deadpool-ness in spades.

Yeah, I was surprised that was thrown in when they have yet to hit their push opening week. We are close though, and with all the games and X-files it's hitting alot of audiences. Marketing and timing has worked out very well.

Do we have a confirmed budget? Colider Hero's was saying this was only given 38m recently. Think it might have been El Mayimbe who mentioned that, but even if the other numbers of 50-60m is correct I'm still shocked we are getting so many set pieces and a solid looking cgi Colossus.

I'm sure with Tim Miller's background that helped but the actors and crew must have taken a huge pay cut. It looks easily comparable to 80-100m with all the stuff going on.

Damn, every time I try and surppress my hype levels for this film they go and tease more interesting and exciting bits and pieces, there is more stuff here connected to the X-men universe than I first imagined there would be.

The wait feels looooong now, January being a sucky month generally doesnt help, but damn I need this film to lift my spirits. Dont let me down now.

And if there is some dodgy bits of CG, then that will give the haters something to cling to I guess lol. Not expecting perfection in a low budget film anyway but some will.

I've consistently seen 50-60 million.

That being said, the advertising budget easily has to have doubled that.

I think it's great, it shows you that you don't need a HUGE budget for it to look good. If anything, having a smaller budget will push the director, VFX artists to be more creative, to do more with less.

I wonder how expensive the marketing was for this film, since a lot of it was Ryan just sorta fooling around with the Deadpool suit. Obviously you have to send people out there to film his short clips, but it seems a bit more creative than your regular superhero blockbuster.

Either way, this film looks great for it's reported budget. Get Tim's studio to work on all future X-Men projects! Or at least New Mutants!
