They really found a great balance in the makeup. At first I thought it wasn't enough, but I'm glad they didn't go heavier with something like Freddy Krueger. That shot really looks straight out of a comic panel.

In the leaked set photos it did look like it was too far on the light side, but the more I saw of the make-up in the trailer and official photos, the more I liked it, and yeah, I think they found the right balance. The make-up artist Bill Conti actually talks about the work they've done on Wade's face in the last Total Film issue.

Three more weeks for me!

Time to go DefCon 5 on the internet until two weeks today when I will have actually seen this bad boy. No spoilers or reviews clouding my judgement on the big day.

TJ Miller says there is gonna be a DC version of the film? It's already a hard R and a very lean film to begin with, so I don't know what else they would add. But Tim did say he trimmed some fight scenes and there might be a few of those aforementioned jokes that Tim says were too offensive to keep in the theatrical cut. Either way cool stuff.
