I think that clip is edited.
Not really. Iron Man 3 received an A cinema score, 79% rt on audience and critic as well as grossing over a billion dollars. How many last entries score that high and improve on the previous? It wasn't mixed, it's pretty obvious the majority liked it. It's just that some people didn't, and a section of fans had very strong issues with certain characters. I personally didn't cause I don't read Iron Man comics, but I can see their pov.
The point is that even with a movie like TDK there will be those who have issues with it. Doesn't mean it's the majority.
That doesn't mean there won't be those who just don't like it. All films are subjective as is humor. As long as the majority digs it and box office returns are good we are all solid.
.The BO argument with IM 3 doesn't wash with me. It was the first MCU movie after Avengers, it was always going to make a bomb no matter what. Add in he is the most popular Avenger and the movie could have been garbage and still made money.
I wouldn't say the majority like it either personally, 2/3 years later it barely gets talked about even by fanboys, and even then it's mostly negative. And yes, I know we are discussing it now.
But agree to disagree on that one.
But yeah with DP there will be people who dislike it and the humour, but that's true of every movie. And again like Ant Man and GOTG, if the heart and emotion are done right the humour won't be an issue for many.
Fanboys are like what percentage of the audience? Easy to get tunnel vision when you are constantly on fan sites. It wasn't loved or considered a classic like the Avengers, Guardians or Winter Soldier, but it wasn't divisive like MoS either.
But anyway, let's end this conversation, this is the Deadpool section and the movie looks great!
Monday Morning Update: As expected, Deadpool repeated atop the list for the past week. The only remaining question is if it can hit 2.5 million like before release. Very few films have seen their first installment warrant over 2 million like before release. It is true that most of the big a-list comic book heroes debuted long before the social media playground that is today so perhaps they all would have also but if I look around at other major recent titles like say Guardians Of The Galaxy, that didn't even have a million before release. A friend recently told me I'm inside the bubble for Deadpool which is why I'm so high on it and perhaps that might be true to an extent, but its hard to ignore these huge numbers no matter how you slice it.
Similar to how Spider-Man 3 still made a lot of money despite its quality. The BO argument with IM 3 doesn't wash with me. It was the first MCU movie after Avengers, it was always going to make a bomb no matter what. Add in he is the most popular Avenger and the movie could have been garbage and still made money.
Deadpool now has over 2.8 million likes on fb and and almost 300k for twitter, with those pages not even have been up for a year.
Deadpool should "leak" the movie but have it like it is being recorded in a theatre with Deadpool in the middle of the camera watching the movie but covering the action and saying absurd things making it hard to see or hear the movie.
Crap... I'm going to have to wait a whole week to watch Deadpool, because I work late for that entire damn week.
