Deadpool Deadpool News and Discussion - Part 4

I finally got to rewatch the film, and the method they use is actually pretty clear:

They inject the mutant genes via serum, and then the adrenaline is the catalyst for the mutant gene (from the serum) to activate.

well I cant understand why you people are focusing on this perspective that how he became mutant, the thing is he became a mutant by ...............................!! we dont need to focus on that too much as we can never find that formula in our real lives to be a mutant:woot:
:sh:

Haha That's awesome :up::up:

So when's the last time Disney name dropped a Fox owned Marvel character?

MCU actors and directors have praised DP. Not sure if that counts as big Disney doing it, but I say close enough.

They aren't (and not exclusive to) Disney so they can pretty much like whatever films they see and be openly vocal about it.

The entire Deadpool team is so much better at conducting interviews than Singer and Kinberg. Basically everyone but Hugh (and James, Michael, Jen when they do interviews, but they're not press savvy besides the initial press run for these films nor do they have the social media presence that Ryan does).

Wernick and Reese's response on how to adapt Cable and his convoluted backstory in a different interview was so simple. "Faithful, but not alienating to the GA". These guys just seem to have a great balance of what's needed for a film and what's needed for it to resonate with comic book fans and the general audiences alike.

Kinberg is part of the Deadpool crew.

Touché! Guess it's just Kinberg interviews I don't like then!

Kinberg talks like a producer.

While Reynolds and Miller speak like fans with a we don't give a **** attitude who really just wanted to make a movie.

Definitely.

I am hoping they release Deadpool 2 on same date as Justice League. No doubt in my mind, Deadpool 2 would ultimately win that battle...

That would be a very bold move. But deadpool would take a huge hit that weekend if they did that. Bvs had pretty much out grossed DP already. Then you take in consideration JL would have the whole league and be PG13 so kids tickets would play a factor.

Civil War would have beat BvS if they stayed on the same release date but CW would have lost money as well.

Studios rather make as much money as possible than win dick measuring contests.

No need for the pissing contest, event if Pool wins the movie would still take losses from the competition.
