Perhaps Warpath could be included?
Good idea, maybe even Bishop also as I can't see them appearing again in the other X-movies.
Perhaps Warpath could be included?
In 2005, you talked about your interest in making a Deadpool movie. Now that it’s actually happening, is it like a wish fulfillment?
Yeah, it is a bit of wish fulfillment. I do feel like I flipped a coin in the exact right fountain at some point, but I’m excited. It’s been an incredible year. Actually, we’re just at the beginning of our first week so I’m not even into [it] yet fully.
What’s the most exciting thing about playing him?
It’s just how unusual he is. You understand why there was trepidation to make the movie early on? Because it’s a really difficult character to put up on the screen for the studio. He’s a character that’s aware he’s in a film, he’s aware that he breaks the fourth wall. I mean, he does certain things that are unlike anything else in the X-Men Universe yet he is a part of the X-Men Universe. So it makes it a little challenging, I think, to find a way. He’s so popular—the comic book alone [is] one of the most popular selling comic books of all time so it’s exiting to be here shooting it. We don’t have the budget that most X-Men movies do. In the super hero world, this would be considered an independent film.
And there’s the debate on whether it’s gonna be rated PG-13 or R because of how gory it is.
That debate rages on. We’ll see.
I'm suprised no body has brought this up yet but I wonder how good the make up for deadpools face is gonna be and is Ryan gonna just ware a bald cap or something sense he doesn't have hair?
They're actually filming this..
Exactly
Noticed Morena took down her pic confirming her as Vanessa. Kinda odd.
One possible reason would be crossover rights. Both Deadpool and the Surfer came over to FOX on separate contracts after the Artisan deal failed. With Deadpool (kinda) appearing in Origins and the Surfer in FF 2, the general thinking was that these two characters were part and parcel of the X-Men and FF contracts, respectively.
It could be that Colossus is on a separate contract than Deadpool, and his appearance in a Deadpool movie would require approval from the Mouse. Just a thought, and I will quickly retract it when and if FOX hires an enormous, muscular Russian.
I'm not overly fond of the idea of Wolverine being in this film. But actually, Wolverine taking Colossus' role from the script could work quite well. Wolverine is sent by the X-Men to take Deadpool out or at least try to talk him around. Not only because he's a match physically, but because of their tortured pasts being something that connects them. Plus it could add to the resentment Deadpool feels about other "superheroes". How comes Wolverine is accepted as a hero and Deadpool isn't? They're both cold blooded killers... how comes Wolvie gets a free pass? Because he doesn't literally look like a monster?
There is depth to the Deadpool character. You can tell a really unique and compelling story with him and skewer superhero cliches at the same time. So much potential.

Looks like the eyes can change shape maybe? Like they do in the comics.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
