He looks seriously great. Awesome pose to use as a reveal too. I actually have some confidence in this movie. I generally get taken out of things when Reynolds shows up since I feel he gets miscast a lot, but this is the perfect type of role for him.

I also have to wonder if they'll continue manipulating the white eyes to create expressions - the cartoony look of it would actually work great for the world they're going for in this.

The suit looks good. I hope it's actually real (with CGI for the mask?) and not all out CGI.

It's a real costume. Renynolds talked about this photoshoot a while ago. The only thing that is (likely) not real are the eyes.

That's cool. It would be nice if they truly keep the eyes CGI/mocap so they show his expressions for the comedic effect. I assume it would be something like how Rorschach was done in Watchmen.

The Origins Deadpool looks that much worse now.

But in a weird way the backlash to that version may have been the impetus for the very faithful version we are seeing right now. Kinda like how Batman & Robin led to Batman Begins.

Especially considering the direct costume adaptations almost always look better than anything else. Deadpool is looking absolutely fantastic, brilliant reveal photo.

That doesn't even make any sense or isn't comparable.

FFINO suits are ass. No two ways about it, they took the classic FF look and poured feces on them.

This suit looks great, the people who made this suit took great deal into making it and respected the source material.

just because this suit looks great doesn't mean the FFINO suits all of a sudden look great themselves.

Today's reveal supports what FF fans have been arguing about for the last couple of years. Accurate page to screen adaptations work if the people involved care about the core source material. FOX clearly gets a win here, but the casting, costuming and tone of FFINO continue to be a disgrace.

This film hasn't particularly been on my radar, as I'm not really a big fan of Deadpool. But my anticipation has been up since I saw Ryan Reynolds give arguably 2015's best film performance so far in The Voices, which was great enough to pretty much earn him a lifetime pass of goodwill on my part and make me interested in seeing him tackle Deadpool. And now we get this absolutely spot-on costume pic - which 100% nails both the look of the character and his personality - so I can officially say I'm excited about this film. Bring it on!
