I'm not usually one to push for an R but in DP's case I will make an exception. PG 13 would be watered down too much imo.

At first, I thought the suit needed to be a little more loose, more padded armored parts, and red leather, but then I figured he doesn't need any protection and the tightness gives him the nice lanky look.

...Off the top of my head, the only CBM superhero outfits that can compete with this one are Spider-Man and Iron Man.

Yeah, I don't see the need for any militaristic padding when the guy has a healing factor.

Man of Steel, Spider-man, Iron Man, Hulk in the Avengers, and Batfleck all have costumes/looks that are just as, if not more so, faithful to the source material. Not to throw shade on this costume, because it's clearly the most accurate suit Fox has ever made, but let's calm down with the hyperbole.

I think the leaked footage is what they are going for. I don't think they are going to go super cartoony.

The relief/beveled look around the eyes makes it look as if it has some sort of animatronics mechanism. Would be great if it emoted.
