That was superb. I'm so glad Ryan never lost faith and interest in the project. Forget Hannibal King and Hal Jordan and whatever character he played in RIPD, Ryan is the Merc with the Mouth.

And props to Emma and co. for believing in the project after seeing the overwhelming response to the leaked footage.

Is it weird to me that this has just become my most anticipates CBM of 2016? Yeah I get it that were having two big cbms with Civil War and BvS but this is something fresh and refreshing from all the superhero vs superhero that's gonna dominate 2016. Also well played Ryan, well played.

I know Liefeld met with Fox execs to discuss Deadpool and whatnot where they asked for his advice on how to tackle the property again. I wonder if he backed Ryan and co. for an R-rating. Either way, I'm glad they're drinking Ryan and co.'s kool-aid with this project and hopefully it can the launching for a more vibrant X-film universe.

Perhaps it's because this isn't a big scale event flick but a simpler movie without so much to set up or continue so doesn't have any of that baggage.

With Avengers, X-Men Days of Future Past, Guardians of The Galaxy, Avengers 2, Batman v Superman, X-Men: Apocalypse, Justice League and so on there loads of those event movies and most solo movies deal with big stakes while this will be just about Deadpool having fun being Deadpool, it's a safe bet the villain won't be after world destruction or domination like most Solo movies either so it's pretty unique from the bunch

Good post. Took words right out of my mouth. Even if it turns out to be a great film, I feel like its just gonna get lost in the shuffle between Apocalypse, BvS, Civil etc.
