Me too. At the very least I think we might see a Hot Toys Deadpool and maybe a Marvel Select version.
Hot Toys collectibles are a pretty niche market. Far less hands are in that cookie jar. Children's toys are pretty much made by a committee, with market research and QA testing playing a huge part, as they're manufactured for a much larger audience with rules and safety regulations they have to abide by. There's a LOT of money going back and forth in kids toys. Collectible statutes and figures on the other hand are made for an extremely smaller consumer pool by a small team of artists in the design phase with little if no regulation. Collectibles over all are cheaper to make and have a much smaller profit, so it's not much of a problem when dealing with profit sharing.

Hot Toys is possible since The Wolverine/Days of Future Past both got one, though they are both Wolverine. I wonder if X-Men: Apocalypse is gonna get one, especially if Hugh only has a cameo in the film, so if not Wolverine for X-Men Apocalypse, which one would get a Hot Toys Figure? Hot Toys action figures are nice to look at. I wish the X-Men films would get more of those!

The quality of the photos are bad, but I can see it working:

New 'Deadpool' Set Photos Reveal Scarred Wade Wilson
Am I crazy or does it look like the scarring is around only the outside of his face? I wonder if they will be doing a cgi thing for most of it. Or maybe because the scene calls for a bandana and they just don't need the full make up?

I wouldn't be too worried about it. Everything we've seen so far is spot on. :woot:

Those pics aren't great quality so it's hard to tell, but it could be much more detailed up close.

Definitely. Not worried at all, just trying to analyze how they might go about it.

Man Morena is so hot, loved her since Firefly, so glad she is in this. And as I thought, the suit looks even better in motion.

Notice of Filming:

''The scene on the George Street Viaduct involves our hero in a car chase, with stunt fight action on the bridge deck. During our filming on the bridge there will be theatrical smoke, lights to simulate a fire, exposed weapons such as guns and swords.''

Full letter below. Includes filming dates too :yay:

Looking forward to seeing some crazy sword moves in DP, does he also enhanced strength?

I guess kind of spoilers? Released by Just Jared earlier, a photo of a supposedly scarred Wade Wilson https://instagram.com/p/0-mXEejptE/

Edit: turns out there's a whole set http://www.justjared.com/photo-gall...lds-gets-down-dirty-on-deadpool-movie-set-01/

Wade's gonna be scarred....

Deadpool is rate R

i just.... you know that feeling when things are just sooo perfect and you're just terrified about that one thing that could just pop that perfection?

... im feeling that. :nrv:

Someone asked Daniel Cudmore on twitter if he would consider returning to the X-Men franchise and he said 'that ship has sailed'.

I think it's safe to say Colossus is still in this then. He might've still had the role if not

Can't wait for the casting.

I've been reading some of the comments against the R rating and I had to give my two cents. First off I feel that calling Deadpool a "Hardcore Spider-Man" or basically a looney tune is a disservice to the character. I know he was portrayed that way heavily during the final half of Way's run, but the current run has restored him to his proper character. As others have said, Wade Wilson is a broken character. His antics are not only a reaction to the severe trauma both physical and emotional, but his attempt to create a his own reality because he rejects the actual reality around because life has been so cruel to him. There is a scene in the comics where Deadpool while at weapon X repeatedly tries to kill himself but fails due to his healing factor. Not only is the world cruel to him, but it never grants him his escape. I don't think that sort of desperation can be conveyed if they are trying to appeal to families.

Also the argument that Deadpool was originally intended to be an all ages character is honestly not a great argument. When Stan Lee created Daredevil he was more of swashbuckling hero. However under the pen of subsequent writers, most famously Frank Miller, Daredevil evolved into a gritty, psychological hero. Should the upcoming Netflix series, which is getting praise across the board from critics be condemned because it doesn't uphold to Stan Lee's original characterization of Matt Murdock? Spider-Man and Batman are probably the two most beloved heroes by both adults and children. Under this flimsy argument those two characters should never go dark due to their overall marketing appeal with children. However one of Spider-Man's greatest stories is the very adult Kraven's Last Hunt and the final chapter of the Arkham series is going to be rated M, the equivalent of rated R. Why? Because it is what serves the story trying to be told, which is what the Deadpool film is doing.

We should be grateful that the creative forces behind this film are being given free reign to accurately adapt our Merc with a Mouth. The argument being presented for a PG-13 film also seems to be in favor of Deadpool being another superhero film off the assembly line. I don't want that. I want the film to be as unique to other superhero films as Deadpool is the other heroes that inhabit the Marvel universe. Deadpool being popular shouldn't dilute what made him popular in the first place.

Kinda sad but he was pretty much used as a glorified stunt-man throughout his time with the franchise.

I don't think they ever bought his acting ability?

Wade's looking scary! I'm glad they went with a more subtle scarring than how he's sometimes portrayed with giant friggin' holes in his flesh revealing muscle tissue.

What website is that newest pic from?
