What's the one that turns into a cassette player that has tapes that come out of his chest and the tapes turn into robot animals?

 

if soundwave is not there, this movie will suck

I dunno, Dynamo's list is pretty good. We're not gonna be seeing astrotrain or the predacons or the insecticons or anybody like that, I'm sure.

If Soundwave's in it, they to put in Rumble

 

A pretty uninspired but basic list:

Megatron

Thundercracker

Soundwave

And that only leaves me with one option for a Cassette. Rumble, Ravage or Laserbeak? How can I choose...

 

How many different cassette buddies did Soundwave have,and what were they?

Limiting it to seven is just cruel. I need Insecticons, Stunticons and most definately Constructicons (...merge to form DEVASTATOR!)

I only remember 6:
Laserbeak (condor...or maybe a dodo ),
Ravage (jaguar),
Rumble (robot with piledriver arms),
Ratbat (bat),
Buzzsaw (Laserbeak clone),
Frenzy (Rumble clone).

Those are from the cartoon. I never read the comic book or really kept up with the other incarnations though. There could be more. Anybody, feel free to offer others or corrections.

 

^I wonder if we will get alot of them in the movie.

 

If Soundwave is in the movie (and he better be *shakes fist*), I'd bet on Laserbeak and Ravage. Maybe they'd toss in a few others, but I always considered those two in the same breath.

Do you think they will have those robots that transform into a giant robot together?

 

God, I hope not. That just seems like overkill. With the all the characters in the rich Transformers universe, I don't think they need to make up any more.

I definately want to see the Constructicons. The Predacons and the Stunticons might be pushing it, but I gotta have DEVASTATOR!

Not a clue. They'll probably only focus on a few on each side, but there could be tons of others in the background.

Slugfest and Overkill appeared in one episode of the cartoon ("Call of the Primatives"). He also had Beastbot and Squakbox in the Marvel comic and toylines.

Those are kinda the "loser" cassettes nobody remembers because they never really did anything. Ever.

Well, Slugfest and Overkill DID get their asses kicked by Daniel in an issue of the Transformers manga. But then, Daniel and Wheelie also defeated Trypticon in the first episode of the Headmasters series.

Yeah, that was the issue of the manga I referenced where Daniel kicked the crap outta them.
