some of them do, but not the majority of them (at least not any of them I've seen)...better?

Anyways we're doing some discussions here , not posting reviews. That's like too 3 years ago :P

As far as animatrix goes , i like all the stories safe for Kids's Story.
The animation is just too weird for me ...i'm more of a traditional guy..sue me.
At the same time why i also dislike Kid's Story is the wasted potential of the kid. He's the most hated thing in Reloaded and Revolutions. The second being the zion rave. Yes i know what the zion rave represents in the matrix world. But i still stand by the fact that IF you knew there was going to be a major attack on humanity in the next 3 days , the last place you'd go was to a rave. I'm rather spend my life with my friends and family and/or actually prepare myself for battle. I just dón't see the rave as something necesseray to the matrix stories in Reloaded and Revolutions

That was that.
Going back to animatrix. My fav one's are obviously Second Renn. 1 and 2 . Actually i like all of them , but the ones which i can watch endlessly over and over again are those two , Beyond which has a really beautiful and haunting score. Detective story , even tough it has nothing to do with the matrix , just in terms of style really is great. Love the noir setting.

Ugh, I have a soft spot in my heart for 2nd. Renn as well....I love it so much (even if it's like the "I, Robot" story a bit)

Ugh , don't start about I,ROBOT.
It raped the world Asimov created forever. What Will SMith and Akiva Goldsman did to it :(. I see the same stuff happening to I AM LEGEND.

I was actually talking about the short story, because of the courtroom stuff and all.
The movie yeah... it was totally different from the short story, but I still loved it :O

Yes , Proyas is an uber genius. The Crow..CLASS
Dark CITY..... CLASS.
I,ROBOT........DISASTER.

Anyways , going back to the story. Alot of the stuff in Revolutions made sense once you start watching Sec Renn. Of course i think the beauty and at the same time the "downfall" of Reloaded and Revolutions is the fact that we are the ones who basically interpret the characters. Which IMO i think is great but at the same time this is also the argument that alot of people who don't like the trilogy bring up.
With the Wachowski refusal to talk about their movies and instead respect the opinion of everyone.

In fact that have shown that they have balls when they decided to also put the critics on the commentaries and basically let them tear the movies a new hole.

I still havent seen I, Robot...but then again, if I wanted to watch an hour and a half long Adidas commercial I would...oh wait, nevermind, I would never ever want to watch that :o

but the thing with the wachowskys is they know how to write dialog.... and i find it just as compelling as the fighting... you really have to think.

wachowskys are gods... V For Vendetta solidified it

agreed. Sorta.

The real way to enjoy these films best is to watch with Subtitles on. Reading the dialogue(particularly in Reloaded) is key to truly getting every bit in. I enjoyed Reloaded more than Revolutions. I don't think we should've ever been taken to Zion. The mystique of Matrix 1 was that there was mystery and intrigue to it all. Once we were taken behind that curtain a lot was lost in translation.

Great movies, all of them, regardless. Nothing tops 1, although two is close.

yeah true....... theres just WAY too much to ge the first time around. which im sure many people only saw it once and lost alot of deep stuff...

the wachowskys totally opened up the world for the sequels... and they had to.

MATRIX TRILOGY RULES

The sequels just don't have the same feeling as the original. They try to, but they try to hard and take things way over the top. The films are still enjoyable to watch, but not half as much as the original. That's all.

Favorite part of the sequels was the huge final fight in Revolutions. It was badass.

thats so old..................and was never funny
