I may be in the minority here but I don't want an extended cut with the Rogue scenes in them. That last scene that Kitty worked so hard for (she held him in the past until the very end) really speaks true to her character. Show Rogue in the deleted scenes , but just extend parts with Storm, Bishop etc

What I don't get is what was Kitty's plan if the Sentinels hadn't turned up at that moment? Just hang on forever or stop when she died? There doesn't seem to be a way for Wolverine to say 'yep, mission accomplished'

Well, as soon as the mission was accomplished (ie, history was changed), then that future would cease to be... as it did, just as the Sentinels fired. And as happened with the small timeslips she did with Bishop. They were never there.

She just had to keep holding on to him.

How did Kitty know that Bishop succeeded then? She said "too late" to the sentinels.

She probably just knew that the mind-transfer had been successful. All she needed is for him to go back a day or two, wake up and say 'we're not going to location A, there will be Sentinels there.'

She had 1 extra line when they were talking about the mission.

then when Kitty got injured, Bishop/Storm were there.

And Storm was even asking Bishop for more soldiers? Which I didn't get.

Wolverine seems to be capable of waking himself up, one way or another, as he almost does when he sees Stryker at the Paris Peace Accords.

I didn't see that in the 1st screenplay.

Though I really wish there was a scene of her piloting the X-jet.

And the X-jet has a special feature, its undetectable, its probably the violet light that was shown in the film.

But when they rescued Rogue, a part of Sentinel's body was attached to the X-jet and the Sentinels were able to trace their hideout.

Now that is a cool explanation as to how they found them/the light inside the Jet!

I don't know if they filmed it, but there's a big action sequence with the X-Jet in the script, after Rogue/Magneto went inside the jet.

I think it was since we have a shot of Xavier piloting the Jet and B-roll footage of them filming I'd assume the only thing that needs to be done is CG.

I hope, and assume, this will be part of the Rogue deleted sequence.

The question imo is what will they put in and still leave out of it. I would be shocked if there's not an extended. It's like the same packaging The Wolverine had. Where you likely have to by the 3D won to get the extended. It's just will it have the Rogue stuff in or just a little more dialogue from the other scenes.

Let's hope so. The pessimist in me thinks they will only add the dialogue stuff and leave the Rogue stuff as Deleted scenes. For Example stuff like this that was cut will likely be in. Some more cut dialogue posted in the Spoiler tag. From the opening scene in the future once the X-Jet arrives before the Bobby and Storm hug. I left in the line from Bobby that was in the film only to give you an idea where the dialogue before was at.

Magneto raises a hand, and...ALL OF THE METAL starts to SHAKE on the mutants, RATTLING, revealing them. WHHM! BLINK appears right behind Magneto with a sharp stick pressed firmly to his neck. SNNKT! Logan snaps out a CLAW.


XAVIER
I think enough mutant blood has
been spilled already.


BISHOP (O.S.)
We’ll be the judge of that.

BISHOP steps out. The rest of the mutants emerge around him.


BLINK
You could’ve led the Sentinels here
in that thing.


She motions toward the X-Jet.

XAVIER
The jet is made with a stealth
technology, impossible to detect.


PROUDSTAR
Not impossible.

He detected them. Bishop steps closer.

BISHOP
I know who you are. I’ve heard
about you. The “X-Men.”

He gives a little chuckle, looks to Xavier and Magneto.

BISHOP (CONT’D)
From what I heard, you two weren’t
exactly on the same side.


LOGAN
We’re all on the same side now.

He retracts his claw. And they hear a familiar voice:

BOBBY
Professor. Storm.

And since i'm at it. More Bishop lines that could be added. Again. I'm only leaving in the Logan quote that was in the film to give you an idea where these lines were.

They all look at Logan. The weight of that. He shrugs.

Well...wouldn’t be the first time.

Yeah, I hope for your sake they do it different and put in on the DVD. But my guess is they will make you have to buy the Blu-Ray, with the 3D, and the Digital Copy in order to get the Extended. They want you to shell out as much money as possible to get the Extended most likely. Just like they did with The Wolverine.

I agree with this! 100%.

With that said, I can understand why some of the dialogue was cut. Like Bishops in the second one i posted. That stuff can be assumed by the audience and doesn't need to be made clear to audience. At least in the minds of the editors and singer.

But for the most past, yeah stuff like the opening scene after the jet arrived would have been fine and great to see on the screen. But I can understand the Bishop lines in the second one i just posted were cut.

For personal reasons i hope to get as much as possable back In future scenes if they do expendent cut or alternate cut.

Depsite talk of 70% past and 30% future it was more like 80% past and 20% future.

even with talk of some OT actors In Apocalypse DOFP Is still "ending" of timeline that begain In X-Men.

No matter what version you go with much of OT is gone so why not give fans a alternate cut where we see more of future and you have Rogue with Xavier and Magneto.

Is there any more lines for Bishop SAUspartan? This is exactly the type of stuff I wanted to see in the film, but didn't get. I really hope they filmed his dialogue but cut it so we could get an extended cut or at the very least deleted scenes.

I do hope we get an extended future battle scene before the deaths. But I am not sure if in the trailers there is any indication of future battle scenes that were cut, other than the Rogue scene.

Could anyone maybe talk a little more about Bishop in the original script and maybe copy and paste some lines of dialogue of his?

He has a few more lines in the original script which help define him as the leader of the group of mutant survivors. He's dangerous, his first encounter with the X-Men suggests that he would be willing to kill a fellow mutant if need be:

XAVIER
Enough mutant blood has been shed.

BISHOP
We will be the judge of that.

His personality is very close to Wolverine's; he's distrustful, gruff and sarcastic.
