Demon Knights

Has Cornell mentioned if he would be writing Etrigan's dialogue in rhyme? Not sure if that's been maintained up to his recent appearences but its always cooler to read.

I think they mentioned he would not be always rhyming in the SDCC podcast.

I would hate to write for Etrigan, I can't rhyme for ****.

Apparently he won't be rhyming all the time in Demon Knights though I hope he still does it sometimes. I dig the rhyming

Demon Knights #2: Demon Knights vs. Dinosaurs!

:atp:

That's the most epic thing I have ever seen

Vandals Savage is fighting a dinosaur  the only way this could be better is if Axe Cop was riding it

Well, Fire breathing dinosaurs with chain gun arms are the bestest....but those are few and far between. :o

Coloring and everything is just awesome, this is *the* team book i'm very anxious about.

Well, hope you enjoy it for the four issues it will get before it gets s**t canned. :o

It is now. :o

They got 52 books and another 30 or 40 waiting in the wings to take the ones that can't immediately find an audience's place.

Eh, I'm not worried. If it gets canned, it gets canned. $3 back in my wallet and a little bit more estrangement from DC. Until then, it looks like it's gonna be a pretty fun series. The Demon, Vandal Savage, and a writer who launched vampire-missiles from the moon and made a Lois Lane robot. Can't really go wrong there.

Paul Cornell was actually extremely happy about the amount of pre-orders both of his titles received. :word:

It's BRIAN BLESSED!

I want a Lois Lane robot :ninja:

Demon Knights art looks fab and I cannot wait to see all the fun crazy ideas Cornell brings to this series

It's not like Paul Cornell hits all homeruns, though.

I point you at Soldier Zero, Dark X-Men, and possibly his Batman & Robin arc.

I'm holding hope for this one, though.

Yep I think that this and Stormwatch look like their going to be just as good as series like Captain Britain and Action Comics that he did

I haven't read any of those. Plus, Captain Britain & MI-13, Knight & Squire, and Action Comics are such stupendous homeruns that they outweigh anything else.

Granted, Stormwatch does look suspiciously like it'll suck based on what I've seen...

Nothing outweighs his four issues of Soldier Zero and Dark X-Men, Corp.

Nothing.

Well, to be fair, it's your own fault for reading f**kin' X-Men. :o

Knight & Squire had a really lousy conclusion tho, but thats what you get when you can't really punish the Joker outside of "get back to Arkham and learn your lesson!"
