Given the ending of BB, there´s room for leaving the Bruce/Rachel relationship at that or to go further into it.

And think about it, if Rachel is no longer there, there´s room for... SELINA KYLE!

The next couple days seem like a reasonable time to expect Dent´s casting. I hope so, can´t stand the endless speculation anymore...

I think you're right, but I think Nolan should show her only in 3rd movie, when there will be more space for this character (I am not talking about Catwoman, because I hope she won't appear in this trilogy).

I can't wait for that day, when we will finally know Nolan's choice for Dent. Hope this day will happen before November comes.

seriously. what is happening to BOF? I love the "it could be BOF, another site, or the trades" REVELATION. Of course the news COULD break anywhere, but most of us know casting is not going to land at BOF first.

No Selina/Catwoman for me. Im still crossing my fingers for KH to return
and if she's M.I.A. for 2 then maybe Rachel returns for part 3 "maybe someday when Gotham no longer needs Batman I will see him again" the yoyo effect when Gotham needs Batman the most he might feel Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome like what my big bro experienced coming back from Iraq. But then again this is Batman so its still a sad Bruce-Rachel story with his comeback as Gotham's hero.
I thought of Aaron Eckhart for Dent and Josh Harnett. I think this time around TPTB will go for an American actor. Or indeed it has been Mrs.Witherspoon all along. Muhahahaha!

I don't know if it's ever been mentioned, but I think it would be humorous if Lachy Hulme was cast as Dent. We know that he did in fact meet with Uslan, but he said it wasn't for the Joker at all. It could be for a completely different project, or it could be for Dent. ALso, Nolan has been known to cast actors in a different role than they were originally up for. Maybe Hulme was being considered for Joker until Nolan met with and tested Ledger, and then he could be Dent.


I highly doubt it, but it's fun to hypothesize.

Well I guarantee that Catwoman won't be appearing.

As far as Katie Holmes not coming back, it could be true with rumors that she is pregeant again.

The question would be whether the character of Rachel will return?

If so the perfect person would be Jennifer Connelly.

If Rachel doesn't return who would be the female love interest? You know WB will requrie one.

However, who says the love interest has to be for Bruce? It could be someone for either Gordon (Essex) or Dent (Glenda).

If it is for Bruce, Selina Kyle would be best (no referrence to Catwoman but be ambiguous about her origins) introduced as an "apparently" rich socialite newly arrived to Gotham or prehaps returning back home from years abroad.

As far as Dent, I hold out hope that it will be Guy Pearce.

Clive would be awesome! I didn't mention him because I think its an unrealistic pick. His name has never been mentioned...but then again neither was Ledger.

I think Nolan knew exactly who he wanted for this part and that he has him. Whoever it is will be the actor that he envisioned for the role.

I can live with that.
