If he is, I'd rather him make an appearance, rather than him be at the forefront of a feature film; he could be someone our main character battles, or maybe someone that gives us some advice or something, but I'm not sure I'd actually ever want a film on him and his journey; we kinda' already know all about that anyway. I'd prefer originality.

I remember hearing rumours of a Mewtwo solo movie (I think it's basically Matt Reeves' Planet of the Apes movies but with Pokemon) and I do hope for the inevitable Red/Blue adaptation.
