I had to rewind @ the end of the last one to confirm it, but dexter got shot in the leg! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! hard to explain that away when you're suposed to be sleeping in your apt!

I didnt get to see scenes for next week but, christ this show is on it's game!

Anyone know how many eps are left?

3 more episodes, episode 10 on sunday, 11 on the 9th, finale on the 16th

I know. I always desperately wish cable shows would order longer seasons, like network shows do. They average 20 to 25 episodes per season a lot of the time (24, Lost, Boston Legal, etc.), but premium channels are stuck with 13-episode seasons. Granted, the quality would probably suffer because they'd have stretch both the budget and their storylines, but I want more! :(

I think the bullet grazed his leg, but yeah, he's bleeding a hell of a lot. I'm guessing he'll have to sneak back into his apartment while bleeding and in severe pain, get rid of those pants, clean and bandage the wound well enough that blood won't seep through, and wear only long pants for the next few weeks. Ah, the complicated life of a serial killer who masquerades as a normal person. :)

Ive seen on showtimes website a description for ep 10 but does anyone know of a website that has previews for next weeks ep?

Did you check the Videos section of Showtime's Dexter website? They usually have the previews and little clips of each episode up there.

Thanks I overlooked it in the video section! The two vids will hold me over till next ep now! I cant wait to see how the next few eps will play out. Im going to have to check out the books after seeing these two seasons.

I'm tempted to read the books myself. I hear the TV series is better overall, but the books can be really funny.

I'd say the first book is on par if not better than the first season, the second book diverts from the second season pretty heavily so I can't really compare the two.

If the books are as witty as the show I know I would enjoy it just as much. I like that the second season deviated from the book cause now when I read it I get to be surprised with new events! hehe

This thread took a real turn towards poop. Shut up or Dexter will headbutt your whiny asses and own all of you.

Yeah that was kinda sad. "Their jaw lines are the same!" "No they're not, their facial structures are completely different!" "....I'm telling on you!! Mom!!"

You do know its on Showtime? If fans of the show are fans because of the books, then of course they would accept Danco. They, like myself, are probably hoping for him to be in the TV series at some point.

I mean, come on, the basis of why Dexter is the way he is was because of his mother was brutally slain in front of him as a kid with a chainsaw and then he basically lived in her blood for days. If TV viewers can accept the brutality of that, Danco shouldn't really be a problem.

I do know it's Showtime, in the U.K. we get it of FX. However, I don't think he would work against the Hall Dexter. It's my opinion, I think the fact we didn't see him in series two indicates the producers of the show might agree.
