Doakes will probably be killed somehow,but not by Dexter,and then Dexter's secret will be safe again,kinda like how on Smallville when someone found out Clark's secret identity they would get in an accident that would kill them.

Ah finally got to watch ep 10, this series is great I am getting excited about ep 11, Dexter and Doakes interaction when he tells him he is thinking about turning himself in, arg 6 more days to go.

Its pretty cool to see that Doakes' personality has changed after watching dexter

Great ep., Doakes was fantastic and his reaction to Dexter killing the Drug Dealer in front of him was certainly unexpected. And, then how that tied into Dexter's father and his reaction to Dexter catching and killing the guy he couldn't. Amazing, simply amazing.

Took me a while to watch yesterday's episode. I've been all about catching up on The Wire lately. But watch Dexter I did, and it was even more awesome than the previous episode. Lila's so obnoxious.

im beginning to think Matthews actually murdered harry. for whatever reason....it would be a perfect season ender to have deb find out about dex, dex tell her about matthews, deb begins to understand harrys teaching and dex, and supports it cause she wants matthews dead...having matthews on the table wrapped up in plastic would be a great final scene.

but i kinda want another dexter celebration scene like season 1s finale lol

Yeah maybe there is that one final secret behind Harry's death, but I like it the way it is now, Harry killing himself for realizing just what he had created. Kinda leaves Dexter up ****'s creek, truly alone. Makes you think what can he possibly do now to continue. Makes it less predictable.

the only problem with harry killing himself is that dex said his code was 'shattered'... without the code i dont feel there is a Dexter.

Exactly, you have no idea what can happen next. Thats kind of what I want. You can guess, but the probability of you being right is decreased a lot. Like what you said about Matthews being behind the Harry's death, you can predict what happens after Dexter finds out, which you know he would.

im just trying to distinguish what plots will end and which will continue into season 3..... i think so far, Lila and the BHB case are the only plots that will be done this season.

Its great how so far we have atleast 2 episodes with Dext and Doakes confronting each other, possible 3 being the season finale. S1 ended so quickly it wasnt until the last episode that

Dex found out the ice truck killer was his bro then he killed him

and s1 was done. It would have been nice if the finale was spread out on 2 eps.

I loved the scene where Dexter realized why Harry killed himself. Michael C. Hall needs a damn Emmy.
