I don't actually care what happens in Fear Itself #7 so I think I'm going to skim and ruin the entire comics and then decide if it's worth the overpriced $5 pricetag. It's entirely likely that I'll just get the story and pass on it. I'll then pick it up at Half Priced Books when it shows up there for half the price. Not a single issue in this event has been worth $4, let alone $5.

I'll be happy that FI is done. I'm looking too interested in the epilogue stuff but it may depend on the creative team and characters. GTG #6 is months late and I'll believe it when I buy it. Despite some $3.99 books, it is a short week.

BLUE BEETLE #2 is iffy. The debut issue wasn't terrible, but it was an underwhelming rerun of very recent material. I'm not sure I am keen for more, especially since I've caught up with JLI, which I enjoyed more.

Super small week and noticing no Marvel this week.

Yeah, after the crap fest that was FI #5, I dropped that nonsense. Shortly after they announced the Fear point issues....smart move on my part to get while the gettin was good.

That was probably a smart move to be honest. It's not been a very good story and the overpriced finale and tons of aftermath is just annoying. Honstly, I semi-wish I hadn't even started this event at all. But I know me and though I say I'll skim issue #7 it's a semi-lighter week and I'll end up buying it like a chump just to finish it all out. I hate me sometimes.

But at least I've already made the decision to not bother with most of the aftermath. I'll skim the 7.# issue with Cap since I'd like to see a conclusion to the death of Bucky with a funeral. I've always liked funeral issues. And the Battle Scars or whatever that one's called with the Marcus Johnson teasers semi-interests me. I'll likely skim the first issue of that one but I don't see how it's an aftermath so far.

I'm actually excited for The Fearless because of the spotlight on Valkyrie and Sin. As with a lot of Marvel's events, it seems the aftermath will turn out to be better than the event itself.
