At last, I can find out how Y ended. No, I wasn't trade-waiting the whole series. I started reading it in trades, and it's simply impossible to switch to monthlies without skipping 2-3 issues, or going on a back-issue hunt across the two local comic shops in my area. And I don't back-issue hunt.

***k. 19.90 for Blade of the Immortal? I just don't get that. That translates to about 30 bucks here. Dark Horse has to get real about the price for BOTI. Its getting higher with every new volume.

Who Do You Trust is a grammatically challenged one-shot with five short stories about characters involved in Secret Invasion. Captain Marvel, Marvel Boy, Wonder Man and Beast, Agent Brand of SWORD, and the Agents of Atlas all get a story. It looks to be pretty awesome, actually.

Ain't No Dog is yet another grammatically challenged one-shot (only it's on purpose in this case) with one new solo story each for Wolverine and Warpath.

Yeah, I lied. I'm actually going to finish reading Hellboy's trades first. I've been picking up the Hellboy and BPRD series, but I always miss little bits here and there because I've only read the first trade or two of the Hellboy stories from before he left the BPRD. Hell, I still don't know why he left the BPRD. So I'm gonna read those first.

^ It was very depressing. I've bought Exiles from the beginning, and has consistently been one of my favorite titles. Enough so to give CC a chance. But it was just a jumble of nonsense. I can't believe I stayed onboard this long.

The events surrounding Roger's death and Manning literally putting a bomb inside Roger led to Hellboy's resignation. He had been becoming more and more disillusioned by the BPRD's methods for a time, but the way they treated Roger was the straw the broke the camel's back. Everyone saw it coming, though. Kate wasn't even surprised when Hellboy told her he was leaving.
