Superman Returns Did anyone?

I'm really sorry if this has been talked about before, but does anyone know what Superman was saying when his mouth was muffled on NK? When all of Luthors men were beating the crap out of him?

Sorry no, i've tried to make it out multiple times, but unsuccessfully. I think he IS saying something to Lex though, as i thought he said 'You' a few times. Like he was saying 'I hate you!' or something.

"I'm Superman" while getting ready to get his ass kicked. And secondly, it doesn't really sound like Routh's voice.

I couldn't quite catch what he says during that scene. It's a really brutal moment in the film, I wasn't expecting it to be as harsh as it was.

Its definately meant to be Superman speaking, because the voice is muffled due to the thug having his hands over Supes' face.

I think he says "I'm Superman, I'm Still Superman." Almost as if to say how can you be doing this to me, "I'm Superman", I stand for good. Also saying, "I'm Still Superman" as if to say no matter what you do, I am still Superman.

Who knows, its going to be one of those things, where everybody hears something different and he probably isn't really saying anything.

So yeah... I don't think we're meant to know. It's probably nothing. Just Singer's twisted mind games.

I have heard a couple people mention the I shouldn't come back.

I suppose the DVD that's comming out will have sub-titles, so when that scene comes up, make sure you have those turned on on your DVD.. Then, we will know exactly what he is saying. I thought he said something about himself. I think the "I'm still Superman" sounds plausible. Still hard to hear. I think they made the music a little too loud in that scene. Oh well.

MAN I can't belive I didn't come back and check this. Well at one time I thought I heard Superman say "I'll kill you, I'll kill you!!" Then when they were picking up off the ground he said "un-hand me!"

The subtitles overhere had it saying "Im Gonna Kill Superman" as one of the thugs would say it,But I thought it was Superman saying something too.
