As we all know, at the science lab, the I Kid You Not Guy breaks up Flash and company, then clearly says, "The next person who talks will fail this course. I kid you not."
But then, Harry starts yapping to Mary Jane. Shortly thereafter, the I Kid You Not Guy knows Harry was "talking throughout that woman's entire presentation."

Did Harry get a failing grade? :wow:  :woot:

I don't think so, because Harry did introduce Peter to Doc Ock as the man who got him through high school science. They had a stern talking to about how we listen though.

How many times we have heard our teachers said that we will fail school if we don't keep quite? LOL

People complain about David Koepp's dialogue when the most popular line in this series so far is, "I kid you not."

I don't think that was the most popular line of the series.

Well, look at it this way, at least we saw him graduate. So, I'm guessing he passed.

Around here it was. Before you joined, there were a profusion of, "I kid you not" jokes, including a few threads. Go speak to Matt about it.

He said to Harry, "I don't know what it's like at those fancy Private Schools Osborne..." meaning he was going to lecture him. Would the teacher have failed Harry, he would have most likely yelled it out in front of the whole class to make sure he meant business.

It was just an empty threat.

i dont know but he definatley does not kid around with things like that

Ahem...

When a writer writes a movie there are certain things he expects his audience to know... some things that are just implied and you are expected to understand for yourself... and some things which would make his head explode if he realized you were giving a second thought too.

If you couldn't understand that Harry didn't actually fail, the I'm sorry but you have failed the minimum acceptance rate to watch Spider-Man movies. :)

But how do you know that Raimi wasnt actually planning a 4th movie with the "I KID YOU NOT" guy as the villian? How do you know? Maybe Raimi did want us to question the I KID YOU NOT guy. Maybe the IKYN guy was the one who started harry off on his trail to becoming evil. The warning of failure lead to fear, fear lead to sadness, sadness lead to jealousy, jealsousy lead to anger, anger lead to revenge. You see, harry cares deeply about his father but the IKYN guy is the true reason, deep down in his heart, that he becomes a villian. I kid you not.

Ah, the master villain... it all makes sense now...

I stand corrected.

I kid you not guy is not I kid you not guy at all. He is none other than.............................BEN REILLY!
