Transformers Did Starscream Shoot...

I came to the boards, having just seen the movie, just to see if this question had been asked.

Personally, I think so. I thought it as soon as I'd seen the sequences, and I still think it now.

Starscream toys with the jets, but then drifts away and (I think) goes around a building. This leaves three jets remaining, and they go into their attack run. But it's four jets that shoot Megatron, at least I'm pretty sure I'm recounting that right.

I just saw this movie for the second time today.

There is no way to say for certain is he fired a shot at him. But also he didnt break his neck to take out those fighters shooting at megatron either.

1) 6 F-22 Raptors flying above building level coming in to fire on Megatron

2) Starscream pops up from behind

3) Takes 1st Raptor out by stepping on it.

4) Takes 2nd Raptor out by shooting at it and kicking it away

5) Takes out a 3rd Raptor by ramming it, which sends it slamming into a building

That leaves 3 Raptors remaining with Starscream in disguise. So...4 Raptors.
There were 4+ missiles fired at Megatron, which means there's a good chance Starscream also shot at him.

I just saw something in regards to SS shooting megatron. If you look at the scene where theres only 4 jets left, one of them been SS, when in the scene where you see the first 2 jest going towards megatron, you can clearly see that the 1st missile shot at megatron came WAYY behind the 2 jets. It comes after the shot of sam ,then cuts to show the first 2 jets, and then youll see the 1st missile that came behind the jets....I know i have no life..oh well.

Why would they need to say anything? If you got a Sequel coming, the answer is in the Sequel!

Did Palpatine tell you right away he is Darth Sidious in TPM?

Right now, it all depends on how you watch that scene. I think StarScream DID Shoot Megatron!

It's not impossible, given he escaped basicly at the same moment. And they did go through the trouble of showing starscream escaping into space as the coward he his. For Starscream to fire a missile or two to turn the tides against Megatron before leaving the battlefield would be just like him and a great nod to the fans.

EXACTLY! That is what I remembered as well. Going to see it for the 5th time sometime this week to Especially NOTICE this scene!

Starscream shooting Megatron Makes the movie 10x times BETTER!!!

He was tearing Ironhide and Ratches a new one. He had Sam in his grasp AND had a good chance to obtain the AllSpark , but he turned to his F22 mode as soon as he heared the Human F22's were going to fire at Megatron ... coincidence?

Based upon Starscream's total desire for power and leadership of COURSE he was one of the jets shooting Megatron. After Starscream shoots/fights with the jets the pilot even says "watch out for him" hint hint. Watch Megatrons face when they are shooting him that was some serious pain and more than any human jets could inflict on MEGATRON. Also Starscream wastes no time making a run for it up into space...to no doubt claim leadership for himself

If you guys remember the cartoon, Starscream and Megatron have a funny relationship. Starscream wants to be in the lead, but does anything Megatron says with his own twist in it. If he fails, he becomes annoyed and then turns on Megatron. I remember one of the episodes where Megatron was ''dead'' Starscream betrayed him in order to lead the decepticons.
Starscream is awesome lol...best attack theory...drop the bombs and run away!

It was a shame there was little to no development of his character in the movie, its a good thing he survived as the potential there is huge.
