The Dark Knight Digital Dent!

What if the CGI is for someone looking at two-face while under the influence of fear gas?
Dear god yes that would freaking rock.

It could really be the snarling, evil, demonic side of him, and a pristine perfect, almost angelic looking other half. They could even be argueing with each other... as far as the person under the effects of the gas could be able to tell.

oh no, a digital 2face? wtf? why would they use cgi to make his 2 faces? even though tommy lee jones was silly and all, he still looked like 2face with the ugly one side, and didnt need to use cgi. i dont know, but this sound bogus.

again, it would be most likely a blend of cgi and makeup. CGI for the eyes and mouth/jaw.

Meh. I'm hoping that it's either a false rumor, or like in TLH by makeup only, but have a few sections popped out by the CG. (Like in "The Mummy" where you can see through his cheek, and it's attached by a few thin strands of rotting flesh. And also no eyelid would be cool.) In color, I'd like a realistic Reddish/Pinkish, MAYBE Purple with a reasonable shade. And I gotta say, it really freaked me out and looked wierd to me before, but after thought? No hair on the burned side. And please GOD make it slightly uneven, not a straight line down his face.

....idea. You know how people were speculating that the funeral Joker crashes is Dent's? He gets acid in the face and blacks out or something, his pulse somehow goes out and they presume him dead, and they have a closed casket funeral, right? Well, Joker comes in, crashes it, but halfway through, Dent springs up screaming and weak, and gets out of the coffin much to Joker's chagrin and the crowd's surprise. Probably won't happen, but it would be SO friggin' awesome.

No offense, but that is incredibly lame. If Dent pops out of a coffin and yells "s***" I'm done with that film. You should probably just have the Joker charge at the coffin yelling "This is sparta" to even things out.

Lol. I didn't mean he actually SCREAMED s*** or anything. I'm gonna edit that out just to prevent further confusion. But yeah.... I would actually laugh if Joker said that. :woot:

The Adventures of Harvey Two-Face.

Joker and Two-Face fake their deaths and watch the funeral from the rafters. Hilarity ensues. Its GOLD, Jerry, GOLD!

I applaud Nolan for going with cgi and conventional makeup effects for Dent, I sincerely hope it is true, Hell I hope they cgi ledgers smile just once to insinuate that his back teeth are showing through his cheek, give him the widest smile since cheshire cat met the grinch on who gets to cut the roast beast day. I don't know that I'd have the two factions of Dent's warped mind conversing with one another per se, but it would be cool to actually have something melting, undulating and maybe a little beyond what your average rick baker wannabe can pull off. The more unsettling the better I say, let the women and children squirm in their proverbial seats...this guy did have half his face roasted by the way.:wow:

If that happened... Harvey Dent popping out of a coffin and just yelling "****!"... just "****!".. I would spend no less than $500 on seeing this movie numerous times.

At least we don't have this to look forward to:

Meh, I know it won't happen, so don't get on my case, but I'd like Harvey's scarred side to be green.

The CGI could be Dent's face melting after he's hit with the acid if they want to go with something gruesome. It also could just be a shot of Dent doing something that requires a digital composite and not neccessarily something pertaining strictly to the scar per se....

It was more like purple though. Ironically, the same color that Schumacher used, and fans detested.

I'm more of a fan of the reddish/pink tone.

I bag on Schumacher's films alot, but to be honest, I didn't have a problem with the purple face. I didn't like the suit, nor the personality, but the face was fine. I'm pretty sure that if they had captured the persona of Two Face, no one would complain about the half purple. And again, Rick Baker made a really good prosthetic.

I think we'll get the green face with Nolan using Bob Kane's Joker as main inspiration for look.

Found this- might be cool:

No over-the-top costume a la Batman Forever.
Frightening burns a la Dark Man.
Classic Two Face green. Eerie and off the hook!

I could see them using practical and CGI to create this type of effect. CGI with only small touch-ups to blend it all in better.

Or if Joker is any indication, Dent puts makeup on half his face to make it LOOK like he has been hit by acid. Acid in the face is so unrealistic. :oldrazz:

this is true, when we went to go watch them film on lower wacker we were on the river and one of the crew guys (who was very cool and tried to help us get a good look at them filming) said that he saw aaron eckhart but he had abunch of dots of his face for the cgi.

If you want to substract from a face, teeth showing etc... the best way to go is probably digital, like Immo thep in the Mummy, also they probably want to try something as different as possible than the Tommy Lee Jones fiasco. (a fine actor who probably could have done the character justice with another director at the helm. I'm not gonna pronounce the S word).
