Thank God (ooooh, the irony....)Creationism is not a theory as science defines it.

My point is that creationism is religious nonsense, hell bent on dragging us back into the scientific dark ages.My point was Creationism is not a Scientific Theory and Nor is it Science.
Right, because the almighty, scientific, golden ages have gone so far in saving our souls with the nuclear bang and the death gasses and lab designed diseases. My point is that creationism is religious nonsense, hell bent on dragging us back into the scientific dark ages.

I never said we were in a scientific Golden Age. More like bronze. The idea, though, is that we grow and evolve as a race into a much more peacful community.Right, because the almighty, scientific, golden ages have gone so far in saving our souls with the nuclear bang and the death gasses and lab designed diseases.![]()

Technology saves waaaay more lives than it harms. Things like medicine, x-ray, hospitals, MRI machines, chemotherapy, etc have saved countless lives. And you would give that up just because of some half-baked religious thing?
"Dun?"
Anyway, we survived, but to what kind of world. We didn't even have toilets or showers. If you got the flu or a common cold, you could die from it. Law was determined by barbaric means, for example, if a rock was tied to your foot and you sank in the water, you were guilty. Punishment for your crimes would be death, if their "trial" didn't kill you. Let's also not forget the brutal wars spawned from the so-called "love of God."
Well, given the choice of living in the present or in the dark ages, I'm sure everyone, even the deeply religious, would choose the present.
Im not sure, back in the Dark Ages us men respected you women, and we were brave and valiant. Your right anyway I prefer today, because as a black man I would be killed back then.

You're responding to my comment without seeing the original usage and missing the point, which Ironically Fried Gold provided ...Oh yeah, it sure would be better for humanity and our civilization if we had no technology.![]()
While arguable, this statement illustrates the point I was making in my earlier post. Just like religion, technology could be USED improperly, or USED to bring about peace and harmony. It has nothing to do with the concepts themselves, but more to do with the idiots...err individuals that use them.Edit...
Also, the nuclear bomb saved more lives than it lost.
Yeah, but technology and religion are hardly realistic parallels.Just like religion, technology could be USED improperly, or USED to bring about peace and harmony. It has nothing to do with the concepts themselves, but more to do with the idiots...err individuals that use them.

THAT IT BE!Evolution is more than an extremely well supported theory. It is a fact in the sense that it be directly observed in a laboratory for bacteria or insects.
I don't know what Darwin says, but science says that we all start off as a pair of XX chromosomes, and only develop the Y chromosome later on.What does darwin say about men's nipples?
