Tomorrow should be interesting to say the least.

For people who know more about this stuff than me: Are IL and VA swing states? I moved from there to here, and I used to always hear how Illinois was flyover country.

But I know both places rely HEAVILY on attack ads, so I guess that's why I asked. I went and voted early at my local library weeks ago. Maybe my voice will mean nothing, but I know I would've felt worse not contributing at all to keeping Trump away from the White House.

Neither are all that swingy, especially Illinois, Chicago won't let the state go red
and Virginia's been pretty reliably blue since the Obama days

You'd think if this was Trump's last campaign they would be showing up more near the end.

I was wondering if Trump starts saying they're gonna rig it would cause a lower turnout for the GOP again come midterms.

I am hesitant to call VA reliably blue. Granted a lot of factors lead to Youngkin, but I think its safe to say they have course corrected since then. Still, I am comfortable in saying VA is VERY anti Trump and MAGA.

That Hogan poll does seem to track with the Seltzer Iowa poll. I was always fairly comfortable in saying Hogan's abortion stance was gong to sink him. Here's hoping this is a nationwide trend. And that the pollsters have continued to discount Dobbs.

Eccentric celebrities Azealia Banks and Mickey Rourke have said they have voted for Harris, if only to spite Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

I’ve cited Christopher Bouzy before on these forums and he’s had to revise his maps again because of the last minute surge towards Madame VP. He will post his predictions at 8 pm tonight on Spoutible.

Originally he had Kamala Harris winning 439 electoral votes and Dems keeping the Senate by 50-48 (the two tossups being MT’s Jon Tester and incumbent R Deb Fischer in NE). And yes, he’s confident Rick Scott loses in FL.

I’m guessing he’s adding Iowa to Kamala’s total and making Ohio a toss-up.

Honestly, I just want it to be over. To get the results. And to hopefully get back to a place where the results are accepted... Regardless of whether or not you actually win.

At the current moment, I don't feel that hopeful OR optimistic.

I’m cautiously optimistic. The MSM and mediocre pollsters are going to look stupid— again.

Not to both sides the outcome here, but:

If Trump wins, we will see a rise in political violence and protests like we did back in his first term. He will likely push the boundaries of the executive to the point of turning our government into a near autocracy.

If Kamala wins, we will see another Jan. 6 attempt and a rise in hate crimes and terrorist attacks and threats by the far right. We will stave off fascism until another MAGA or Trump again tries to run in 2028.

Sigh. I believe this too.

I'll have whatever he's smoking if he thinks she's crossing 350 EVs.
