Every woman in the US.

Especially women. But all the people who voted for him simply think “oh that won’t apply to me”… until it does.

There was a thread going around on social media about a small manufacturing company in southwest PA canceling their employees Christmas bonus yesterday following the election. The owner explained that they would have to order a year’s supply of materials before January 20th. He had to explain to the employees how tariffs wasn’t paid by the foreign manufacturer — but by them.

It's me today though I have calmed down some.

I’ve calmed down a lot since Tuesday night and yesterday. FDJT is among other things stupid, addled and lazy. He and the GOP are again going to get hit with lawsuits from activist and civil rights organizations, strong opposition from the minority party and that the likely GOP House majority will be razor thin like this session (meaning that they will need Dem votes to get bills passed). Plus even a few Trump appointed judges have ruled against him during his time in office.

We will not give up. We will get up, live our lives and make our voices heard.

Which makes it prime fodder for 2026 midterms. A lot of these folks have to be confirmed by the Senate and I doubt Murkowski, Collins, Tillis and the incoming UT Senator will confirm a nutcase like RFK or Kash Patel.

Any election post mortem that doesn't conclude that "Kamala did fine, but the average American voter is dumb as rocks and a massive a-hole" isn't worth reading.

Just because the second part is true doesn't make the first part true. Lets be honest with ourselves and stop sticking our heads in the sand. Kamala did not "do fine". The democratic party in general has not been "doing fine" for a long time because it has a goddamn identity crisis.

Are they a party that supports working class people or are they a party that hangs out with rich celebrities and billionaires like Mark Cuban? Which is it?
