Yeah, it was supposed to be an advantage of Hillary that the Republicans had long been attacking her so we already knew the negative charges they had and would make against her now and didn't care, it wasn't really considered that some people had and still would care about them, they certainly wouldn't just assume that because the Republicans are attacking her again the attacks must be untrue.

Well, there is Hillary and her Benghazi lies, attacking women who where sexually assaulted by Bill. Any new opponent Trump goes up against in 2020 will likely have the advantage of not having their scandals already out in the open.

You are sigh inducing in your credulity, considering the number of Republican led "investigations" the tax payers paid for which came up with little to nothing of any importance. When the Mueller investigation presents its findings, and if there are criminal charges brought forth I assume you and others like you will find some way to undermine its conclusions despite it being a thoroughly non-partisan endeavor. You are making excuses for a man whose history of public and easily refuted falsehoods dwarfs any modern politician, and that was before he was involved in politics proper. Stop with the false equivalency. We are past the point of this "whataboutism" having any affect. Mentioning Libya and E-mails and the greatest hits of Right Wing nonsense at this point is honestly silly.

Arizona GOP uses Margaret Cho sitcom pic to represent Asian Americans

Margaret Kim is an Asian American. She’s definitely not a Republican. She’s also not… real. But that hasn’t stopped the Arizona Republican party from using Kim, the 1994 sitcom alter ego of living, Republican-loathing comedienne Margaret Cho, as an example of its diverse support.

The cast photograph of “All-American Girl” is prominently featured on the Arizona Republican Party’s official website with the caption “Asian Americans,” and sits on a page declaring that the political party will never “demand special rights for certain races, push policies that favor members of one group over another, or single out certain ethnic or social groups with the promise of special favors or political privileges.”

The GOP are literally in the image of their leader. The man who retweeted a man who called him a fascist. They think everything puts them in a positive light, as long as the US flag is involved.

To be fair... No one remembers ALL-AMERICAN GIRL".

Aaaand it looks like the Freedom Caucus, aka the Tea Party, are coming out against a clean debt ceiling bill.

So, Ryan is going to have to pull a Boehner.

These days, I have to imagine that pulling his Boehner is the only thing that brings ol' Paul any joy. Hunched over in the corner of a darkened room, thinking about ridding the filthy poors of any assistance, or of the Ayn Rand day that he'll put on the calendar. You know. Guy stuff.

NBC News - Manafort Notes From Russian Meet Contain Cryptic Reference to 'Donations'

WASHINGTON — Paul Manafort's notes from a controversial Trump Tower meeting with Russians during the 2016 presidential campaign included the word "donations," near a reference to the Republican National Committee, two sources briefed on the evidence told NBC News.

The references, which have not been previously disclosed, elevated the significance of the June 2016 meeting for congressional investigators, who are focused on determining whether it included any discussion of donations from Russian sources to either the Trump campaign or the Republican Party.

It is illegal for foreigners to donate to American elections. The meeting happened just as Trump had secured the Republican nomination for president, and he was considered a longshot to win. Manafort was the campaign chairman at the time.

American suspicions that Russia was attempting to influence the 2016 election grew in the spring of last year, when intelligence counterparts in Europe warned that Russian money might be flowing into the US presidential election, sources knowledgeable with the warning said. It's not clear which candidates were on the receiving end of that alleged cash flow, or if the money was diverting into outside spending groups.

So, how much do you think Ryan/McConnell will fumble the ball this month? A lot of things need to be passed. And quickly.

Meanwhile Kimberley Paige Barnette, a former county magistrate judge running for office for the first time, wrote on her Facebook profile two lines that included her name and “Mayor of Charlotte 2017” was a description of herself, in four capitalized words: “REPUBLICAN & SMART, WHITE, TRADITIONAL”

North Carolina GOP Chairman Robin Hayes said in a statement. “Any suggestion that a candidate is more or less qualified for political office based on their skin color alone, offensive to North Carolina Republicans and we condemn it. This type of suggestion has no place in our public discourse.”

As has been clear, Bannon doesn't really understand national politics. It is merely a continuation of the fracturing of the GOP between the establishment and the Tea Party. The few special elections this year have been too close for a lot of the GOP.

Great example of Republican Family Values

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4875122/Ted-Cruz-likes-hardcore-PORN-video-Twitter.html

Ted Cruz has stunned his Twitter followers after he 'liked' a hardcore porn video.

The Texas senator appeared to 'like' the x-rated clip late on Monday, but it was redacted around 40 minutes later.
It is not known who had was using the account at the time and liked the video. His aides would have likely had access to his profile.
Cruz has not yet responded to reports of the social media activity, but he was trending withing minutes.
In July of 2016, Cruz said in a GOP platform draft: 'Pornography, with its harmful effects, especially on children, has become a public health crisis that is destroying the life of millions.'

Traditional marriage is that of ONE woman and ONE man along with his porn collection

Looks like McConnell is going to push for another ACA repeal bill, with the 2 weeks left for the reconciliation bill they have left over.

So, Paul just announced his opposition to the next ACA repeal attempt, the Graham-Cassiday plan, which is a whole lot more evil than I imagined. Possibly negating McCain's flip to a yes. But Paul is an unreliable vote of opposition.

EDIT: Sounds like McCain is a no as well??? I don't trust either of them.

If there is anyone that can make him change his mind it is Graham, those two are best friends.
