I was watching some coverage on Moore's win with interviews of locals. All the people had the same standing that Moore was a good conservative and that's why they voted for him. At that point it struck me that when they were saying "conservative" it seemed that like they were saying "white Christian".
I don't like to read into things too much but in this instance it seemed like the word "conservative" was used as a coded language. It also brings into question the praise by Trump that Roy Moore is a good guy. Really Mr. President, is Roy Moore really a good guy given his views on just about everything. The guy, despite being a judge, doesn't even understand the intent of the Constitution and the rule of law.
