Disney sets Rob Marshall to adapt "Into the Woods"

Musicals are awesome. I think I enjoy them so much because of my love for Disney flicks.

Enchanted was awesome.

Left me depressed for a week though.

Dammit, Amy! :argh: :o

Why did enchanted depress you? Hell even the squirrel got a happy ending I think lol

I was disappointed in Enchanted's ending because we never got a sequel, which I really wanted.

Dat Chris Pine.

Pine looks just like a Prince Charming, man. I thought Marsden had that sewn up in Enchanted.

lol It honestly looks like she's saying, "Get this f**king cow OUTTA HERE!!".

I think Anna Kendrick needs to be in pretty much every movie now.

She really transformed for that one.

Chris Pine is super hot and is perfect for this role because he looks like a cartoon.

Whoa, it almost looked to me like Bernadette could be under all that make-up for a second. I just hope she can pull off the vocals.

Pine and Kendrick look perfect, too.

Looks like the director wanted Pine to look like a cross between Richard Madden and James Marsden in terms of Prince Charming. Not bad.

And Anna looks great in that wedding dress.

so Emily Blunt is supposed to be a plain baker's wife and Anna Kendrick is supposed to be a beautiful cinderella...hmm. anyway I'm excited for this.

When are do you imagine we'll get a trailer for this?

Well ... (spoilers ahead):

it helps get the audience on Cinderella's side when Prince Charming #1 cheats with a better looking woman.

Maybe a teaser with the Muppets? Kind of a long shot since that would still be about 9 months out, but it is a Disney family release, and filming's been wrapped for quite a while now.

I wonder if some of the trailers will market this to kids and families as the fairy tale version of The Avengers or something like that.

Because that's totally what I'd do, to help ensure this film makes good bank.
