If you have to TRY to come up with a storyline, that's a bad sign. It means the story has already been told and there's nothing left to say about it. If you aren't inspired to keep it going, it's time to stop. Just look at the Toy Story movies.

Easier said than done. Disney needs their guaranteed billion dollar movies. It’s nice when we get an Elio but it doesn’t pay the bills like an Inside Out 2.

Hopefully they can keep up the balance of original/sequel/original/sequel etc

Encanto 2 being in development is the least surprising news I've seen all week. Encanto went into development well after the likes of Frozen 2 and Wreck it Ralph 2 were in the works and the concept of a family with magical powers lends itself to sequels. I could smell this coming as soon as it exploded in popularity after releasing on Disney+.

She was talking to Mirabel so Mirabel, at least, knew that Bruno was living in the walls of the house.

I mean she probably got shut down when/if she tried to bring him up. But during the last song “All of Us”, she does state “I knew he never left I heard him every day” to Camillo.
