so if you download the movie, does it save to your computer as an mp4 file?

can you then watch the file on other devices like your PS3?

Unless I'm mistaken, iTunes files are only playable on Apple devices or on iTunes.

ah.

I think I'll just wait for the Blu-Ray.

it is tempting though.........

Same. Not worth it putting down $20 for a digital copy. I'll take physical media over digital.

yeah. and I know some Blu-Ray+DVD combo packs also come with an UltraViolet download of the movie.

I'm sure that will be the case with Frozen, too.

oh, and this question is for you Frozen Fanatics who've seen this multiple times.

but, is the Let It Go theme ever used in the musical score?

and it's kind of funny that Let It Go is the "breakout" song of Frozen, yet it's not really the "main theme."

I'd say the main theme is First Time In Forever, followed by Snowman. especially as those are the 2 themes used in the finale score, and the ending is usually where you play the main theme.

Like Part Of Your World at the end of LM or Beauty at the end of BB.

For the first time in forever we will beat the other movies with our hands! Cause for the first time in forever no movie will stand a single chance. :p

We can beat them together. The other movies will live in fear. Cuz for the first time in forever, Frozen will always be right there.

I don't believe so. Just a score version of FTFTIF and DYWTBAS at the end. If there is, I haven't heard it, and I listen to the soundtrack and score a few times a day.

thanks. I don't recall hearing it either.

you figure it would have been a little "motif" for Elsa that played during her scenes.

and a part of me still wishes Elsa had the been the sole princess and main focus........

ah well.........

there's no way I can wait THAT long.........lol

I just don't wait to have to buy two blu-ray DVD, and I'm sure the 3D version will probably arrive during the holiday season to capitalize on Christmas shopping later.

Here's Idina's interview on today's GMA:

Compilation of fans' submission:

On another forum I read, 2 or 3 people now have been told by Disney reps that it'll be coming out in the Fall. Take it with a grain of salt though. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out in November. That's usually when the PIXAR releases come out and there isn't a PIXAR movie this year, which leaves a slot open there.

I hope it will be out in the Autumn and not Winter, because it's a very long wait already. But if it's like other 3D blu-ray discs I'll get to own all 4 versions in one package (3D, BR, DVD, and DC).

Here's the rest of the GMA Sing-Along:

They invited Lexi Walker (from that Africanized cover) and Grace Lee to sing as a trio at the end, but I don't know who the third girl is (the one standing on the right side of Lexi). Does anyone know?

Idina Menzel will be singing Let It Go on Good Morning America tomorrow (Wednesday), for a Sing-Along. GMA has asked fans to submit a video of them singing this song as well.

Apparently, one of the kids they showed is the daughter of someone at the hair salon I go to. She mentioned it when I was there on Saturday. And then everyone at the place got the song stuck in their head. :funny:

My mom saw GMA this morning, and now we have tickets to see the movie on Saturday. Yay, we finally get to take my nephew!

Idina will appear on ABC's Nightline tonight!

it really feels like Elsa (Idina) is the real star of Frozen.

I wonder if there's any way to know, quantifiably, which princess is the more popular one, in terms of searches, merchandise, etc.

Nobody wants Anna toys at all. Looks like people were all about the Olaf at Christmas though.

Searches for Olaf were nearly identical to the Anna searches. Elsa is definitely the breakaway star of this movie.

I got this Elsa mug for myself-- I mean, my fiancé, at the Disney Store. There were very few left. Lots of Anna mugs though. LOL.

I knew that Elsa is more popular of the two sisters, but I thought that since Anna is the true heroine of the movie she'd be popular as well, not to mention that she has a very funny and endearing personality. But Elsa in her icy dress definitely has more of a WOW factor than her younger sister.

My guess is people thought Anna was just Rapunzel without the long blonde hair and therefore boring. Their personalities are almost exactly alike.
