I loathe that both DVD and Blu-ray have that stupid "Digital Copy + Ultraviolet" banner on top. Just ugly... I notice it's become a trend with Lionsgate releases now.

Won't stop me from getting the movie though.

There's a featurette titled Earth's mighties Anti-heroes This is definately "the Avengers" of action stars.

They apparently tried to get a joint chinese production deal in place for EX-2 in place but couldn't reach a deal. I think the only way we get an EX-3 is with something like that in place.

I can guarantee you EX3 will take place entirely in China. That's the only way they'll get Jet Li in the entire film and it's hella cheap to shoot there. Plus Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren might be doing a buddy cop movie set there first.

Yeah but i don't see anymore big stars being attached like we had in the jump from 1 to 2. Maybe nicolas cage but he'd perform at a bar mitzvah at this point if it was catered.

I wonder if they will do a DC for the sequel, I thought the DC for the first movie definately improved it in most places, wouldnt mind getting another one for E2.

IMHO if the actor isn't willing to give more than a week, they needn't bother. One thing I liked about the EX1 finale more than the second was that every actor was utilized really well.

I'd like to see Arnie get an expanded role in the next one with his own team maybe comprising of Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes, Carl Weathers and Mr.T with Seagal as the villain.

Snipes = Is he still in jail?

Carl Weathers = Had a spat with Stallone over "Rocky Balboa" because he wouldn't bring Apollo Creed back for the film.

Mr. T = Apparently has a problem with violent movies. Criticized "The A-Team" for that very reason.

Seagal = He's a *****e.

True, Jackie Chan can't move like that anymore, but he can easily make a scene like the little fight scene Jet Li had in the second movie. He may not be able to make those big, complicated stunts, but he can still do stuff.

He wouldn't let stallone use archived footage of him in the film. Probably wanted more money for it then they thought worth. The guy is cheap but can make a damn good stew.

Also as for jackie chan he doesn't kill in his movies. So he wouldn't do something as violent as this. If they do a third one i can't see them getting any bigger stars. The budget is likely going to drop back to ex-1 levels.

Honestly the Nepal opening was better than the climax IMHO. They had to shoot around the fact that they only had Bruno, Arnie and Carlos for a couple of days and Statham vs. Adkins/Sly vs. Van Damme had their allocated shooting time cut, it all translated to a rushed finale. The opener (And the Ex1 finale) had more room to breathe and they feel more fully formed.
