Disney's Peter Pan and Wendy from David Lowry

The movie made the biggest sin of making Martin Short annoying, somehow. TP sucked as a whole, though. Out of the Disney canon that came out that decade, only 4 of them were good (Emperor, Stitch, Bolt, Frog), but the bad ones were bad (Range, Chicken).

Brother Bear had it's moments.

Treasure Planet is beautiful and I liked the setting of Atlantis (not the animation style though)

Are people really wanting another Peter Pan movie?

I do - a more colorful and humorous version than Pan was. Also with way much better effects than the one with Jason Isaacs.

Well at least the mermaid lagoon should look gorgeous hope they keep the “we were only trying to drown her” line.

Emperor's New Groove is not my thing at all but I must be crazy because so many see it as overlooked classic these days.

It's fine I guess.

It's hysterical. When I saw it for the first time in grade school I was crying with laughter.

I expect death threats to come by any second.

She's not the best actor around but she's awesome.

I'm not some die hard Tinkerbell fan who couldn't enjoy a movie with a black tinkerbell, but I mean, I would be more interested in a live action Disney adaptation if she looked like she did in the animated film. But whatever. If she's not a good actress, that's concerning. In fact, I would argue that it's worse given that she doesn't talk, because then her character needs to come through in facial expressions and mannerisms. Tinkerbell in the animated film was very expressive.

I feel part of this is to just make controversy for marketing at this point. I want diversity but I know stunt casting also lol.

I think it'd be bigger stunt casting if they made Peter or Wendy black. Tinkerbell doesnt do much usually.

They won't do it but this would be a great Little Mermaid crossover if they keep the mermaids in.

That's because she's busy running her white supremacist group.

I think Tinkerbell was the highlight of the original, myself. She's also a bit of a Disney mascot, and there are those Tinkerbell straight-to-DVD movies. How much that translates into people caring about her race, I don't know.

Tinkerbell as an overall character is bigger than Tinkerbell in Peter Pan. She was also the highlight for me.

But people will always care about race bending a white character, hell they freaked when they did it to an orange character lol

It's a fairy.

It means even less than changing a fictional human character's skin color. They don't even exist in the world.
