...Spider-Man 2099 is in the future, not a reboot. This is literally nothing like Spider-Man 2099.
If anything this is more like Ultimate Spider-man...and guess who he looks like...EXACTLY LIKE 616 SPIDER-MAN!
Ultimate Parker does not look like he could have been cast in Twilight, YOU TAKE THAT BACK RIGHT NOW.

And you're being very literal, reboot can be in the future. But you kinda have to stop with the original (which they didn't with 616 Spidey), otherwise it's just an alternate take. You're technically rebooting the continuity though.
What about his DMC4 look?
I personally love Epic Battle Cry lol they crack me up
Leather chaps or whatever he was sporting wasn't working for me, but his hair looked better than it ever had before. That's a small victory since all the other games were on the PS2. I had no problem with Nero's look, fwiw.
And I meant the gamespot people dude, I love me some EBC: "how art thou!?!!?!?!"
And to respond to the actual page I'm on, I hated DMC4's lack of progress outside of Nero and his wicked demon arm. Even if they'd kept all the old annoyances (walls pop up disappear before and after every fight with cut scene, etc), I wouldn't have been so disappointed as long as Nero had been the playable character the entire time. Make Dante unlockable like Vergil in the special edition DMC3, not give him just as much screen time. I loved playing as him don't get me wrong, but he really should have been a skin, with no cut scenes of his own. I get the juxtaposition was nice seeing how Dante reacted differently to all the enemies as compared to Nero, but Nero should've been able to shine. Course, they wouldn't be able to force you into playing the bosses 3x in one playthru, thus saving the time it'd take to make a bunch of UNIQUE bosses, with no recycling. There's a chapter select for ****s sake, gamers had the options to go back at any time!!!
