I just saw someone mention in another thread how they were getting off their holiday weight, and im curious, who here actually gains weight? Im asking cuz i hear it said a lot, though i have yet to meet someone who actually experiences this regularly every year. Ive never seemed to have such a problem...

So, do you gain weight during the holidays?

That was me dammit!

Anyway yeah sitting around doing **** all and eating loads = me putting on a few lbs :p

I have once before, a couple years back. (and worked it off) But only that one time, I think.

I did too. :( So ashamed, but the honey ham my pops made, was amazing!:cmad:

I never have. I tend to loose weight because I get out of routene and don't bother to eat.

I got sick over the holidays, so I lost about 5 pounds.

Ouch, crappy time to have that happen.

Yeah... happened right before Christmas, and I got better right before it as well

i usually gain about 3 pounds and then it disperses in january, once i stop gorging myself on holiday food.

pretty much, i say to myself, "well, it's the holidays!" and i eat everything that i can until i can't eat anymore. i'm usually at my boyfriend's house, and there are three retired women at their christmas parties and usually between 4 and 6 desserts.

Like.... 4 pounds. I lost it in less than a week.

No.
One Holiday, I lost 30 pounds.
I was working at my first job and cut back on my eating.

I can't gain weight over the holidays, or my coach will kill me. In wrestling, there are very rigid weight classes, and if anyone fails to to make weight, the punishment can be severe.

I said yes, because its impossible for you to enjoy the holidays without gaining some weight. The foods taste good, its not healthy. But i have a very active life style,so its no problem for me.

I didn't. I ate, but I didn't just pig out so....

For me, yes. Though, not because of the Holidays, but because of winter itself. I'm always very tired during the winter and less inclined to be active because of the weather.

I gained 5 pounds and felt gigantic. I'm down to normal weight now, thankfully.

I don't normally but this year I think I gained a couple pounds. I've been trying to gain a few though so I'm quite pleased about it :)
