Do You Believe We're In The"Last Days"?

you do look like a jewish hobbit in pics tho.

And therein lies the inside jokes :)

I'm too tall to be a hobbit (6 foot), but when my hair gets long, I'm ideal. I dressed up as a hobbit for halloween a few years back and people said I was dead on. I cut my hair maybe 3 times a year, and it was just prior to my new haircut, so I could mop my hair down over my ears and everything. It was great!

well you should rally against most of the legal system then if that is how you feel. if we didn't see the murder we can't have justice then, by your reasoning.

Go ahead and hit me with those non-sequiter arguments because you know, we have a lot more peices of the pie when it comes to a recent murder done in this day in age or a high level of tracking and surveillance than we do with almost any type of history.

Really, when it comes to history, we barely have anything. If you want to be an idealist, be an idealist that's fine, but leave the "importance of factual history BS out of it." The legends are fine, but the facts are just not there no matter what.

Warlord needs to think about this too.

historical investigation can be quite intensive with lots of evidence. not much is known about bible characters or writers outside of the bible tho. so i agree that it cannot be known. we do know of propoganda supression of oppossing views and many holy books playing favorites with the followers of that book being the aparent favorites. we know of multiple ideas of gods giving justification to war and naturally explainable phenominum. i've no reason to believe christianity is any different. many stories involve people doing things that could lead to them entering a waking trance. alot of it reminds me of derren brown type stuff. imagine a man like him 2000 years ago and the effect he could have with an agenda.

when things that cannot be known for certain, i rely on probabilities instead. probabilities aren't certain by their very nature. but i'll take the 99.9 reacuring probality over the other option which has no reason to believe what so ever.

it's got all the hallmarks of tribalism on an unprecidented scale.
