A fun poll in relation to Spider-Man 3.

Does the symbiote/dark side often effect you?

There are times that I feel like going psycho and sometimes do on those that annoy me.

Have you ever felt the overwhelming urge of the symbiote? How often do you give into it?

Yes. Like today. Was totally quiet & was practically sulking around for nothing. My parents were freaking out.:o
I kind of enjoy my little dark side at times, its fun.:venom:

Yes, I think everyone has a dark side. But I tend to keep mine at bay. I don't like to show it to anyone, though. People are at their weakest when they're angry (like Lionel says in Smallville).

Hell yes. More often than not, I am calm, serene, sometimes a little wacky but in a funny way. Understanding. Happy. But every so often I just loose control, and lash out in a way I don't want. It's almost as though, at those times, everyone is an enemy.

yes. sometimes i'm going nuds. i like a girl and when i see the other boys with her,i have a sensation of hate! if i don't control me...........

Dude im venoms son u know im evil

I bow to your evilness. Without villains there are no heroes.

I often get angry, quite easily too. So far though I've always been able to keep it under control.

Of course I've felt the effects. I kick my friends through mirrors with no walls all the time, only I substitute the pumpkin bomb with Molotov cocktails. Then I laugh off the doctor's bill and the lawsuit. Needless to say, I'm on a first name basis with my lawyer.

Humor aside, I think we all have a dark side. That's part of why people relate to Peter's struggle with the symbiote so much- we all have that moment in our life when we were impulsive and brash, or even stepped on somebody close to us. It's hard to keep things at bay, and much easier to just wear your emotions on your sleeve. With that said, I'm a huge sap in real life. I can't go on more than a few hours being really mad at someone and apologize in mere moments if I act like a jerk. So, while I can ignore my conscience briefly and be sinister or spiteful, I can't help but strive to be pleasant to my peers. It's just how I am.

Yeah... LIKE THIS :woot: ...

Really? You probably are just joking, but I know a person who really is like that. If he stays in the light too long he burns to death. No joke. He got third degree burns on a summer day just standing there. He has to wear this special suit and everything.:csad:

I'm very quiet and seriene most of the time. For instance, If I really hate somebody, chances are I won't ever mention it. I don't show anger, at least not in public. That's why many think i'm an all around nice guy. I jokingly poke fun at people from time to time, but not in an angry violent way. Even when people head on insult me, I never say anything. Just shrug it off. When I get angry, I often refer to myself as "we" just to freak people out. Beneath the flesh lies the symbiote. And though I hold it in...one day it will take control. And you do not want to be there when it does.

It's really weird actually. I'm about to finish up senior year, and it's been dark side-ish, I guess. People have changed and pretty much gone against each other. This year, I've actually been an ******* to people I don't like, given into plenty a temptation, and done something that hurt someone who was really close. It's weird that this movie comes out on the last day of the school year.

Hmm...does he have an allergen to sunlight, or hypersensitive skin? Regardless, I feel for him. Having to wait to go outside and enjoy yourself is never fun.

I have my evil moments too. Largely I'm a very nice person, but gosh I can fly off the handle if provoked.

I can get angry, quite easily.I Get angry at moments at School.

So Venom Jr you Like night time.

People always tell me that I'm so nice. Its gratifying knowing that they are unaware of the boiling cauldron inside me. :gg: :venom:

I do get angry at times. such as last month when a kid in my school kept calling me a name. so then after school (I'm in junior high school) I called him the same name he called me then he shoved me a bit then I pushed him back and people started looking. I never hit him but was close to. kids sometimes make fun of me in my class because I'm a nerd. like two weeks ago when this girl in my class made fun of me and right in the middle of class I yelled at her and yes I raised my voice preety high. I never showed people my hidden anger and I never let it loose even though I would love to scare the bullys in my class. I do have freibds though who are huge fans of Spidey such as myself though. I kept my anger at bay though. there is alot of reasons me and everybody else here can relate to Peter Parker.

Everyone has that dark side to them that they must fight to overcome. It's one of the things that we as humans must do to one day achieve perfection; simply put, it's the problem of evil.

While we're on the subject, there's something I'd like to mention; this is something I only noticed after watching Spider-Man 3, despite having read the comics and seen the TV show...

Eddie Brock represents the part of us that always wants to blame other people for our problems. We commit a sin, knowing we've done something wrong, yet we don't want to accept it. Eddie Brock chose to doctor those photos in the film, he knew he was making a big mistake. Yet he blames Peter Parker for ruining his career...

Yes, we very much have a darkside for sure. So if you see a female symbiote outside your door, by all means let us in because we crave your brains.
