You know, even if it's alien origin, you don't have to go into great detail like, omg the symbiote was there when darth vader cut off lukes hand! omg, the symbiote also was witness to the alien takeover of hadleys hope lol omg! you get the idea.

it's interesting to make parallel's to comic book history and political/ scientific history

if you all remember, Venom was introduced in the 80's... during which time Reagan was going for operation "star wars" as well as fears of communist war

the symbiote.. represents both these things.. with the space race over.. the USA became introverted and more concerned with self protection over anything else

the symbiote parallel's many of these things.. it's orgins and it's properties

with the human genome mapped and mars on the verge of being walked on... the symbiote could take either the space origin or the genetic origin.. either one would be good

I am a fan of re-introducing characters a new way.. so genetic is my vote

Well said, Reikowolf. I for one wouldn't mind a genetic origin either, I think it could be very interesting. As well as re-introducing characters, is also interesting. This could work very well onscreen.

sorry if this has been answered, I looked through most of these threads I didn't find the answer to my question, but If the symbiote suit is man-made, does anyone think it'll be connected or made by the same people that made the superspiders that bit Parker in the first movie??

It'll give it a reason to shoot webs and give the person wearing the "goo" spiderlike ability


I personally hope the symbiote is alien though

I've been thinking recently that maybe Venom's look may be more based of the Earth X version of Venom. We've heard that the costume may have veins all over it the would form into the spider, and considering Topher's size, it is much closer (Even though he isn't quite as petite as the female May Parker).
