Okay folks, im going to start an Official Appreciation Thread for Venom. Please lets keep all discussion mature and good hearted. If you love Venom thats fine, if you hate Venom thats fine as well. Because let's face it, everyone out their has a right to their own opinion. However, there are millions of Venom threads being spawned, but the majority of them turn out to be crud. Well this thread will hopefully not be. If there are other Venom threads that spawn after this one, then just merge it with this one to keep all Venom thread population under control. I just want to help a little bit and the Venom fans can share their ideas, visions and whatnot here. Seeing as there are lot's of other threads for other villains being created, they got merged, i'll keep this going. I'll bump this thread ever so often so everyone can see the thread and/or view peoples posts.

So, that weight being of my shoulders; here is an idea I have.


Now i've posted this idea before, but i'll start the thread off with it. Of course you don't have to agree with this idea or you hate it, thats fine. If you have an idea of your own post it in this thread.



Spider-Man 3

1) Introduce symbiote in Spider-Man 3(Whichever origin turns you on), also introduce Brock, build up the grudge he has.

2) Have Spider-Man with the symbiote for whatever duration in Spidey 3) Fighting GG2, Sandman, etc)

3) Have Spidey seperate with the symbiote, thinking he has killed it.

4)----Optional; Have symbiote Bond with Brock at the end (Lets have Brock screaming like a lunatic in pain, as memories of Spidey embrassing Brock, all the bad moments in Brocks life come back to him in a flash)

Spider-Man 4

1)-----Optional; Have symbiote Bond with Brock Now(Lets have Brock screaming like a lunatic in pain, as memories of Spidey embrassing Brock, all the bad moments in Brocks life come back to him in a flash)

2) The film now is Spider-Man vs Venom

And for the two films, you can have fun with all the other junk such as more development with Peter and Mary Jane, Aunt May, Jonah and little John Jameson and the rest of the happy friends. And prehaps any other villain set-ups and whatnot.

I'll agree. Even if Lizard isn't in SM3, I can certainly understand the desire to put Venom in SM4. Hopefully whoever might be directing and starring in the franchise at that time would do a quality job.

spidey 3 is goblin country

venom is unique to me because he hates both spider man and peter parker

he sees no problem with rining parker's doorbell and punching him all night.

when/if venom comes..i dont want people to know that its venom for awhile so we can have all that creepy tension of brock looking for parker and him scary the **** out of mary jane.

having venom will also send parker on long partols where he gets no sleep, doesn't see much MJ, all he does is go out looking for venom

and venom is stronger,faster than peter and spidey sense wont work

so now we get to see science peter make some sonic bombs or whatever.

all i know is that when Venom comes in Peter will be angrier,tired and get the **** knocked out of him end almost kill brock...it'd be cool if while he's fighting brock(and almost killing him) the symbiote sees that parker is worthy and tries to merge with him again...At that moment Peter realizes what he's becoming and great power...ect ect

I can imagine myself, big muscles, sharpen claws, razor bladed teeth, a big demonic tongue, hanging around every corner of the world, shaping myself into whatever I want to be, a policeman, a politician, a priest, a singer, or even another villain like Red Skull, Dr Doom or even the Dc villains.

OK guys here is my way that I think they should do the 3rd movie with Venom. I cant see them spreading it over two movies like you guys are saying even though that would be cool. They dont really work things like that. Remember these are actual movies that they spend major $ on Not our fantasys.

I think its going to be a much longer movie, and not as much for kids.(I thought SP1 was geared to kids too to get a strong viewer base, and I think SP2 lead away from that a bit more, and SP3 will lead away a bit more).

The movie will start out with the shocker(not very developed just to show him as a bad guy robbing and stuff. Spidey will fight him and he will escape. Then there will be space accident peter will save the people and the symbiot will come around and attach to spidey. Then for a little while he will fight with the back(he will start to become bad) Black spidey will beat the shocker and almost kill him and then realize what he is becoming a bad guy.(during this time we will see brocks hatred brewing for parker)

Then spidey will ditch the suit and Brock will get it. That will roll into awesome battles between the two, with a big fight at the end. There will be no definite winner of the last battle and Venom will escape. And the movie will end with a hanger like that.

No one has said anything about this yet...not every one of these movies has to follow the standard of the first two where a villain is in the movie as a normal guy peter associates with, then he has a accident and becomes bad, and then they fight, spidey wins and the bad guy dies. I think the movie is going to follow a completely different format, and would be a good idea to do that.

I do like eveyone elses ideas too.

venom HAS to be the next villian.this whole "accident turning good guys into bad guys" is getting old.i mean goblin and doc ock turn into villians the same way(there own projects messsing up and backfiring) its kinda boring.they have to use a great villian.they have to use a well known villian.they need a villian with a unique original origin and venom fits in all of those.

What kind of plot would you folks like to see in a movie, something similar in the style of the 90's animated series of Spider-Man? Something like the Ultimate Spider-Man comics, some original?

For me I think it would be neat to see the story somewhat based on the original Venom plot from Amazing Spider-Man #298-Amazing Spider-man#317.

So, lemme get this straight: you'd get the Venom symbiote... and then waste time developing a career in pop music?! I can imagine what Eddie would say to that...

SPM3 - Sandman and GG2

SPM4 - New Cast and Direction. Introduce the Spider-Slayers with Scorpion, Shocker, and Vulture (as the mastermind)

SPM5 - Introduce the black symbiote. Have a Lizard/Kraven storyline.

SPM6 - Venom baby!!!! And at the end have Spidey and Venom team up against Carnage!

Now thats a good two trilogies if I ever seen 'em. 'Nuff Said!
