Do You Have Faith In James Gunn’s New DCU?

That comes with the wide masses doing their part. Stories can evolve into what they're made to be in time. I haven't heard a positive reaction to a Superman film like this in a long time.

I was always a Marvel guy growing up (save for some DC films here and there), but Superman made me buy a bunch of Superman and Batman comics. I'm really excited about the DCU and to read up on the comics in the meantime

Get any good comics?

I saw the James Gunn Superman movie and i was a little disappointed i was expecting something more similar to the Christopher Reeve movie but adapted to today world i didnt like that Jor El was evil or that Superman always appears defeated i dont like how the new Superman acts like a teenager the Superman of the comics is calm and very stoic i dont like that Hal Jordan is older in the DCU or that Supergirl is a drunk girl i think the new DCU is not for me i think it will be another Hamadaverse im more excited for the Matt Reeves Batman Universe than for the DCU i think i have given up on watching a faithful Live Action adaptation of the Justice League

I felt like SUperman acted like a real person. He is only in his late 20s/early 30s....

Hal Jordan wasn't in the James Gunn Superman movie.

Have we even been introduced to Hal Jordan in the DCU?
Not yet, but Kyle Chandler is 60, even older when the show comes out. That's basically the retirement age in lots of countries.

Just to be clear, I have no problem with his age; my favorite comic book stories are about aging superheroes (Old Man Logan, Kingdom Come, Dark Knight Returns).

Oh ok, I hadn't followed casting news on Lanterns in quite awhile, so I thought he was confusing Guy in Superman with Hal Jordan.
